Yes. Do not tell Adam. :lipsrsealed2:

It's weird calling trousers pants. I get awfully confused. They said about it in Torchwood and I cackled like a loon.

I also get confused when people call trainers sneakers. I'm like "da fuq are sneakers?"

You did? :wacky: A lot of people did in R/L when I first got them. But it soon became apparent when the colours started swapping daily. As I said, I'd love to get them dyed in but werks stop me. :(

Probably, that's what it seems to me anyway. But admittedly we don't know the guy, we just see him and what we see is probably out of context anyway.

I wouldn't say I'm snobby, my housemates are and I get really annoyed when they look down their nose at people. I try not to be snobby, but I guess at points I can be without even thinking about it...? If that makes sense. Just sort of like at work I figure I probably come across snobby when talking about uni. IDK.

True, true. It's interesting to think about, though.

No, I understand. I don't mind people's faults as much if they admit it's there and they at least seem like they're trying to improve on it. It's when they're oblivious/don't do anything about it/don't care that things like that really get on my nerves.

It's weird calling trousers pants. I get awfully confused. They said about it in Torchwood and I cackled like a loon.

I like the word "trousers." I'm just too used to saying "pants," and people would probably look at me strange if I said "trousers," anyway. Heehee. :wacky:

Major savess. Fank yoo  I wouldn't go as far to say that I'm attractive though, obvs because I have self doubt just like every other human beans.

Yep, most of us are like that. I wouldn't say you look nice if I didn't mean it, though.

There's 2 main ways extensions can be done: glue or clip-in. When I was off work for a bit, I went for glue in. When I'm in work though I have to go for clip-in because they don't like colourful hair so I'm not allowed to have them in. But clip in tend not to damage your hair as much.

I'm getting it dyed though once I finish meh job. :awesome:

So do you like, clip them into your scalp? That sounds icky. D:

Bascially, those people are lame balls then for not seeing how lucky they'd be to have you. One day though you'll find someone that's everything you want and more and it will be happily ever after.

I see where you're coming from though. I tend to attract the wrong type in R/L. The last guy was in the Navy, he was rather lovely looking but literally had tumbleweed running through his brain. I can't deal with that sort of thing yo'. I prefer to lust after y'know Max (McElligott from Wolf Gang) and Steve (from Shake Aletti) and numerous other band people. I think these probably would help if I've never met them or spoken to them though. They seem to real when I've met them.

It's not that they're lame, because for the most part, when I tell them that I like them, they're very nice about it. They reject me, but it's not in a mean way. Its' just that it doesn't turn out in my favor, and it gets irritating.

That's what people tell me. I'm trying not to worry about it (I'm still young, right?), but it's hard. I have friends who are already married and starting families. In a way, I feel like I'm behind or something. :\

See, I have the opposite problem. I end up getting caught up in bits and pieces of a guy's personailty, and in turn, I end up glorifying them more than I should, given the situation. I really need to stop doing that. >_<

That's so weird! For us, trousers are like nicer pants, like what Hillary Clinton wears.

Heeheeheeheeheeheehee I trolled the Lolla thread in the Coldplay section and got the exact responses I wanted, specifically "COLDPLAY HAD A BIGGER CROWD EVEN THOUGH MUSE HAD A BIGGER STAGE AND FIELD". In other news, Justin Bieber puts on a better show than Coldplay if we use that same logic and follow crowd count to determine quality. :P

Okay, pic time. Probably the best Muse pics I've taken yet. This is just a small selection. I have countless others on my Facebook. I made that album public for the meantime. :)

I haven't read any reactions to your post in the CP section yet but I can imagine the sound of them.
Faced with your dilemma, I would've chosen to watch Muse at the moment, too.
With Coldplay it's just the same setlist every time...
Wow, if you've had asked me what I'd say in 2009 my response would've been different.
But the 8 concerts I've seen in 2008+2009 were all different and worth it. :\
Plus - the company was great! Wouldn't have gone to 8 concerts if it wasn't for the people I went with. Universal CPing

Leaving for Outside Lands in about an hour, so expect more sparse activity from me until early next week. Then, no more Muse for me for probably over a year. :bigcry:

Also, I think I have a problem - meeting Muse members 3 times over the past month (I've met them all now!) has pretty much turned every other band encounter into a downgrade. At Lolla, I was able to talk to Two Door Cinema Club, Friendly Fires, and The Joy Formidable, and they were all cool and nice, but it didn't seem that...significant. I'm spoiled as hell now. I dunno, bands probably actually like that when fans approach them like normal people.

BITCHES CAN'T HANDLE CRITICISM OR ANYTHING. THEY'RE ALL A PAIN IN TEH ARSE.

Except the non-obsessive ones that actually can take a burn. Talk about taking life to seriously. Psshhh.

In other news: I hope both Michael and Cecilia have a wonderful time at OS. Should be very much good no? If you happen to see T'Kirk talk about his badass banoffee pie.

I am also hungover to bollocks and about to do an 11 hour work day. Why did I think that was even a remotely good idea!?

That was the most brutal crowd I have ever experienced at ANYTHING music-related, and security couldn't do a thing because "the festival makes the rules and we can't help anybody out or our bosses will get mad at us". According to my friend who had gone to 24 shows on the Resistance tour, this was worse than Wembley Night 1. It was packed so tight that I couldn't even jump during Muse. That, my friends, is not a proper/pwopa Muse concert.

Regardless, got some good pics and was happy to get Citizen Erased again. But after tomorrow, I will not be attending Outside Lands in future years unless IMMENSE modifications are made. A disaster compared to past festival experiences.

I caught up with the last few pages of this thread and I want to hug you guys. My body is so sore, I'm quite dehydrated, and my head feels funny. But my friend and I still had such an amazing time.

We got barrier on Matt's side (which I still can't believe) and we stayed put the entire day. As Michael already said, that crowd was just ridiculous. The pushing started when Arctic Monkeys began, and it only got worse from there. The girl next to us during Muse just went absolutely crazy and unintentionally started shoving my friend off from barrier.

Right, the band. So since that was my first Muse gig, this review might be a bit exaggerated. I thought the boys were so incredible, and Matt seemed like he was having a pretty great time. During their riffing/jamming sections, it finally hit me on how talented and amazing the boys are as a live band. I'm so ridiculously happy that they played Butterflies & Hurricanes.

Every time Matt walked to the side of the stage and stood in front of us, I just reached my arm out and screamed. Tom walked past us while they were setting up Muse's gear. :wacky:

The one thing that really sucked (besides being squashed by the crowd) was that when Citizen Erased started, two guys wanted to get out of the crowd, and I was right in front of them. So I had to duck down and wait for the security guard to hoist them out. When the CE riff started again, another guy wanted to get out of the crowd, and I had to duck again. Very annoying. :shifty: Still, it was fantastic to actually hear CE.

So, um, yeah. That's my review. I just want to go back and relive it. :bigcry:

Tom actually recognized me and remembered my face. :stunned: That's when you know you've stalked a band one too many places. :laugh3:

We made signs for Chris to throw the harmonica to one of our friends, and he saw them and did! I tried getting a setlist but someone else I knew got it instead by kissing up to security all day. Took a Plug In Baby balloon home instead as a sort of consolation.

Will try to get pics up ASAP. :)

Actually, the admins/mods closed all the threads with over 10,000 posts, which resulted in people making new threads. It's supposed to help the site load faster.

Anyway, I hope those who have heard/will head "Citizen Erased" enjoy it. It probably won't be played much at all (if ever again) after they stop touring and start work on LP6.

Corkus
17-08-2011, 06:49 AM
Come to think of it "Take a Bow" was the only rarity played in North America that I didn't get this tour. Probably says more about Muse mostly wanting to play hits over here rather than their best material, but at least I can say I got Bliss, RBS, Citizen Erased, and B&H. That said, New Born is probably toast next tour since it got dropped in the latter part of last year. Bring on LP6!

TwistedPolitik
17-08-2011, 06:54 AM
I'll be happy to see New Born be dropped, despite it being one of my favourites. I saw it the first time I saw them and it just didn't stand out as much as it seemed to on older concerts I'd seen and heard footage from. If they don't play it well anymore, they should drop it IMO
