In the United States, education is taking a turn for the worst. Thousands of teachers are being laid off, and classrooms are suffering greatly from budget cuts. Students ranging in age from 7 years old up to 16 year old banded together to support the teachers that made a difference in their lives. Background music is set to Coldplay's "Square One".

For many people, school sucks, but regardless of your personal feelings about school, you cannot deny how important it is for kids who are just starting their own lives.

nice video! I try to help my little niece whenever I can. She does not like to read at all. I have to break things down for her to understand.

I personally think that it doesn't matter on whether you have children or not, you should help a child either way. You don't have to be a teacher to teach a kid something. Help your little siblings, your cousins, neighbors, nephews/nieces or whoever just be involved. I actually had to teach a class a few months ago and I was so nervous specially 'cause it was for kids. I was surprised that they were actually paying attention & it was only one kid that was the loudest but he wasn't too bad & they all liked me! So it was fun :D

Thanks!

You make an awesome point that you don't have to be a teacher to teach a kid something. It's great that you did have that experience of teaching a class, and just having only one kid act a bit naughty is pretty good!
