i've spent the last couple of days surfing the net looking for as many major festival line ups as i can. and here is what i've come up with. i just thought it would be interesting to compare the different line ups from across the globe. who is doing the most fests? who is headlining in the UK but opening the fest in the US? which fest has the best line up? wtf are the black eyed peas doing on these lineups? so on and so forth. the whole thing is a little messy at the moment and is very much a work in progress. and pardon the slight aussie bias on the list.

Aerosmith are playing because they were supposed to play there 3 years ago, tough the festival was cancelled after the first day because of a heavy thunderstorm which made the speakers towers collapse and broke many cables holding the main stage...that same day Pearl Jam had to play and now they're back as well, they both kept their promise :nice:
