How excited is everyone going to be? Considering this will be my first time buying a full-length release of theirs (I didn't become a fan of CP until after VLV was released), I think I'm going to be pretty psyched.

This is actually the first time I am eagerly anticipating a CD release, so the next several months or however long it takes for LP #5 to be released will be extremely exciting for me. I really can't wait for when official news about the fifth album start trickling in, like with Prospekt's entries on coldplay.com months before VLV's release and song titles; all that anticipation sounds like the best part about waiting for a CD release.

Anyway, I'm just really, REALLY excited for Coldplay's next album and for the few months leading up to the release date.

ive been a fan since 2000 - i would love their songs on the radio but didnt know what they were called.

but didnt know it till 2002- (saw the scientist video and wrote down their name on mh palm).

my first anticipation of an album was when x&y came out and it was so freakin exciting! but the next album will be my first anticipation of a coldplay album where i have internet to follow the release of it. so im super freakin excited!!!

i bought all their cds. but seriously, i'm getting together with friends who like coldplay and we're going to find the shop that opens the earliest and all go buy it and listen to it together! haha we've been planning this for ages.

I don't know yet if I buy it on the first day, because an EP could come out (together with the main album, like my VLV/PM), and I don't want to own a double album... I could also make a present out of the first album, but anyway.

Yeah, but I used to watch the music channel on TV all the time when I was 4. I liked Don't Panic apparently.

Same here! Except my Dad had all the CDs and played them all the time. I would have been 6 when parachutes came out. I liked Shiver the best, I remember asking for that one all the time. And my brother liked Yellow. My favourite now is Don't Panic.

I knew them in 2000, first heard Yellow. Then bits and pieces of AROBTTH and X&Y. Didn't become truly obsessed till Viva la Vida came out. :tongue: I am anticipating this new album. :smiley:

i've been a fan since yellow was released in the US. And i'm super uber stoked for the 5th album, as long as it's awesome. I did PR work among my friends when VLV came out...gained like 5 new fans for the group. i feel accomplished haha
