Perhaps our expectations were too high (to meet one of the guys on the boat for instance), but I think, as Chris said he was delighted that we were there and they couldn't come to the boat, a little reward for the participation in their video clip wouldn't have been something luxurious in compensation of the fees to be there. Probably your fees have been much higher than mine.:thinking:

I totally agree. Personally, I had a really great time. Even the opportunity to meet so many Coldplaying members, meet old friends and make new ones was a real treat. I think we might have deserved free drinks and not only tea and coffee that some people even don't drink and tiny sandwiches + at least a signed CD. If they provide us with alcohol and we do something stupid to ourselves or someone else (like fall off the platform in the tube and get smashed to bits), they can be held liable and be sued. So I think it's a good thing that they didn't provide us with free drinks. Think for more than 2 seconds people!

I work in a studio often and am happy to take a few moments to help someone at the door who unexpectedly shows up. I feel like Coldplay are pretty cool guys that they wouldn't give as much a damn about it as everyone else does. But the fact she rang the bell just to say the boat sucked makes the whole doorbell deal pretty lame.

Sooo, I was at the bakery/beehive today to take some pics (as I figured the boys are not back from Vegas yet) and saw two men carrying these rectangular canvas from the bakery to the beehive. I don't know who they were but I snapped a pic when they got to the front door of the beehive which I'll post when I get home tomm or weds. I also got a glimpse inside since they left the front door open while taking them in!! I didn't recognise who opened the door either...

I wonder if the canvas is for new album paintings or maybe guy's art project?!

Ok, so here are pics I took at the Bakery and Beehive on Monday! Sorry it took me a while, I was so tired when I got home yesterday and had to work today! Ick!

So I just kind of walked around and was taking pics when the two young men came out of the Bakery and crossed the street to the Beehive with the canvas - one of them kind of looked like sound-man Dan, but I don't know if it was really him. I knew someone was there since there was a black car in the driveway! :sneaky:

I waited for them to get to the door and snapped a quick pic (so not to be completely obvious :lol:) and then casually walked by as another young man (I don't know who he was either, but I thought maybe anchorman?!) opened the door and let them in. In the meantime I got a good peek at a hallway and railing (maybe stairs?), but nothing too exciting to be seen inside :(

I was just happy to have some 'action' going on as I wasn't expecting anything but taking the pics!

Mmm, depends. My guess would be less frequently, especially given the fact they will be doing the summer festivals. At the same token, they would probably want to go back to the studios to fine-tune or change certain parts of their performance, so... I don't know. It really could go either way.

Hey everyone!
On 31 of January I decided to visit Coldplay studio) I had been telling my friends that I’m going to meet them, but they just ignored it: come on! The world band on the streets of London, it’s impossible!!

When I went out of the station I went straight to my destination, staring at everyone, looking for familiar faces.. Finally I got there! What’s a magic place! For all time when I was in London the sky was grey, but that day it was a sunny warm day! From far a way I saw the shop (I don’t actually remember was it a shop or a café) but it was pink, just from photos from people who’s already met them! I came closer to it and in front of a car, which stood inside and saw a smoking and talking group of people.. There were: Jonny, Will, Phil (the manager) and a man (sorry don’t remember his name, he introduced himself as a sound producer)..When I saw them , they smiled to me and one by one began to come closer. The first was Will. He saw that I was shocked, shook my hand and didn’t stop smiling.. (I can’t even imagine what my face was alike in that moment! ) We introduced, I asked him if I could make a picture with him, he said: of course! I also gave him books to sign (I bought just last copies, they are about the biography of a band). Then came Jonny and Phil, they also shook my hand, asked me where I am from and made the same). The most talkative of all was Phil, we had a very nice speech with him. I asked where are the other guys (I meant Guy and Chris of course) They said they didn’t see Guy that morning in the studio , but Chris just went for a walk around and soon he should come.. after that, Will and Jonny went somewhere waving me and saying nice to meet you and Phil went to the studio. I can’t describe what I felt after that meeting, it was really incredible!!
So I decided to wait for Chris..i sat on the bench in front of a studio and waited…after 20 minutes a tall guy crossed the street (I recognized Chris immediately for his way of walking) and crossed the street too. He was holding a notebook computer… I ran up to him and said happily: Heeyy Chris, my name is Rita, nice to meet you! He said: Hi Rita, nice to meet you too! I asked if I could take some photos with him, he said: Yes, of course, let’s go to the studio… we came to it, made some photos, he signed my books (I noticed his hand was full of notes, as usual..he likes it)), and a bit talked about London( He asked if I liked it etc.) I remember Chris said a nice phrase of Samuel Johnson in one interview and said it to him: “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life” He answered: yeaah! I also asked if they are planning to go to Russia, he said: actually we think about it! Moreover I said that a new single Christmas lights is incredible, he smiled and thanked me)) Then we said our goodbyes, he went to the studio and I finally screamed: Coldplay is the best band in the world, he said: Oohh thank youu!!.. This was the end of our meeting. Of course I haven’t said many things that I wanted to say but I was extremely lucky to meet them) All of them are so kind and pleasant! It was the happiest day of my life. Even now I can’t believe it!!

He lives in Notting Hill, near Portbello Road (I know that cause a friend of mine is a huge fan of his and we passed by his house to go to a restaurant). Dunno the name of the street or the exact location, but it's from about 5 min on foot to the market. You can't miss his house, it has a big black gate door.

Firstly i saw them in the Internet, but decided to buy them in London..The name of the shop is Waterstones (there are a lo of them in London) but i found them only in one shop..bought the last ones. Will Champion said it is not original, but i liked it a lot (i have read only Look at the stars, don't have much time)...also there are a lot of quite funny pictures, biography begins from Chris early ages) It's worth reading!

I entered in each and every Waterstones I saw- quite a few I might add- but I could not find any Coldplay books :disappointed: I was really looking for "Roadie" Matt McGinn's book, but I could not find it either anywhere :disappointed: they said it was "out of stock" :shrug:

Rita, I disagree it's not that easy to meet them! :thinking: well, if you compare it with other bands/artists it is...I guess...:uhoh: but you also have to be very lucky :nice:
