Since I'm the keeper of Wedding Bells I demand that it will be on LP5!!!

Well it just means that there is something EVEN better which is surely a good thing seen as Wedding bells was a good song

I asked about Wedding Bells, and he said that it's been scrapped from the album by something better
We asked Guy about Glastonbury but he's comment was "We don't have nothing planned for the moment" but who knows, maybe he was just saying that to keep it a surprise.
I knew they wouldn't include wedding bells on the album :smug: , but its great to hear that they replaced it with something better :D. Thanks for the amazing info by the way!
Someone should ask when they are planning to release the album, or if they are finished recording the album :wink3:

Oh ok guys, since you managed to find it, I'll write what happened !
that video is mine :D I did it for my friend in America who probably loves them more than me.
I'll get pics on here soon as I can!
Basically here's my story:
After reading about the stories you guys had meeting Coldplay in London, I wanted to check this out. So me and my friend planned to go to the Bakery on Thursday (4th November like Chris says in the video :p)
SO, anyway I got there first because my friend was having massive delays on the train and JUST as I got there I see Chris crossing the street. Naturally I yelled out for him and he smiled and I waited (with these 2 other fans from Belgium who waited for like 2 hours that morning) because Chris was talking to his friend.
As they were talking, who did I see coming from the other street, non other than JONNY !. I yelled his name and he did the same, smiled and crossed towards us. Took pictures and my video message
Managed to get a question out to Chris, I asked about Wedding Bells, and he said that it's been scrapped from the album by something better... (I was slightly sad since I liked Wedding Bells) then they had to go inside.
anyway this was all before my friend arrived, he came like 20mins after and was extremely jealous. So we waited again for him (and I did see Guy as well but I didn't want to bother him since he seemed a little tired). Anyway we waited for about 2 hours, but time flew because I brought along my acoustic guitar. We also saw Phil ! who was really nice and talked for us for 10mins. Chris and him saw Muse in Wembley this year, and I think he mentioned something about wanting to be in the mosh pit (don't quote me, I have to ask my friend again since my memory is bad). I regret not getting a picture with him.
and luck strikes again we saw Chris running out to get his coat and stuff, then came back out again to do autographs, I got him to sign my acoustic guitar this time :P and about 2 minutes later Guy re-appeared! and signed my guitar as well (he's exact words "that's a beautiful guitar" *smugface*) and took pictures.
I can't believe how close they are to me. They are literally a 30min train ride away. Saw everyone but Will ! grrr... don't think I'll go back since they were busy with album making
We asked Guy about Glastonbury but he's comment was "We don't have nothing planned for the moment" but who knows, maybe he was just saying that to keep it a surprise.
i love ur story but i want pics to and chris and phil enjoyed the muse concert:dance:

i was very excited when i found out that his shirt is from Teefury, because i bought a shirt from that site not too long ago. it was the Nerdfighter shirt, though, not the Back to the Future one. :P

Someone needs to ask them if they're playing at the American Music Awards in LA on Nov 21 - I bought tickets when the rumor came out that they'd be there, but there's been no official announcement. So now it looks like I'm stuck seeing Justin Bieber and Katy Perry :/ Although I'm ok with seeing Usher and Bon Jovi, and Christina Aguilera will be there promoting Burlesque...
But I want COLDPLAY to perform one of their new songs!!! wishful thinking:thinking:

Haleema and I discussed what we'd do if we saw Chris or Guy walking down the street
At first I said "I would be gracefull and rife with charm and wit...... or maybe I'll accidently drool on myself and say "um" a lot and squeal.
Then I realised what will mostlikey happen.... I will see him and catch his eye and walk into a street lamp...

We were staying in a hostel near Belsize Park/Hampstead Heath, we walked past the studio a couple of times. We didn't meet them, they weren't in London at the time. But we saw Miller a couple of times!
There were people from Sweden, United States, Germany, France and probably from some other countries (can't remember :embarrassed:)

You're so right.
It was one of the most normal conversations I've ever had!
... well not normal, because it's not everyday that you get to talk with Chris Martin... but you know what I mean. ;)
I wasn't nervous at all.
It just reminds you that they are just like everyone else.
Sure, they are rock stars, but when I talked to both Chris and Jonny, it was just like talking to a friend.
I was surprised too at how personable they were. If you didn't know they were Coldplay, you'd never be able to tell you were talking to someone famous.
They're great.
I also just want to say I think it's awesome at how many people are meeting them lately, but I also hope that people don't get too carried away with hovering the beehive and the bakery. I know Coldplay loves their fans, but I'm sure they don't want it to become a hotspot with people crowding out there everyday.

I was there the same day as CHEVALLIER too. I was leaving London in a few days so I thought I'd try my lucking walking past. To my surprise, Guy came out and was happy to take a few photos. Then Will, though he'd mentioned he'd just been to a funeral, so I didn't want to take any of his time and ask for a photo, then soon after Jonny came out.
Matt then came past and mentioned that Chris would come out really soon and to wait around a little bit. He gave us a Viva guitar pick.
Chris came out next and was super nice. He went inside and brought me a signed poster, and then took a few photos with us. It was really a surreal moment.
All of the band were super nice, and I can't stress how much they seem to appreciate their fans.

All of the band were super nice, and I can't stress how much they seem to appreciate their fans.

anyway this was all before my friend arrived, he came like 20mins after and was extremely jealous. I regret not getting a picture with him.

i think it would be nice to hear a studio version of Wedding Bells, buttttttt there is still the option of it being a B-side, and it's not like we don't already have a live version of it anyway. :P

Friday 26th November 2010;
Arrived at Fleet street at 11:30 and went for a coffee with my mum and waited for the Coldplayers to show. 12:00 walked up and stood opposite the beehive, about 10 minutes Later I saw Guy walk through the door saw another guy with a cable walk in. another 5 minutes later I saw Will walk into the bakery, I was too shy to say ’owt :anxious:
Around 12:20 Bob, mums friend greeted us and 10 minutes later Laura showed and a bunch of others. We waited around for an hour and a half then one woman (can’t remember her name :@) rung the door bell over at the bakery, they told her to wait on the bench but she stood outside the beehive. We were talking at the other side of the road then ‘OH MY GOD CHRIS’ we legged it across the road and
we all shook hands and got photos taken with him then several minutes later Guy, Will and Jonny came out signed a few stuff had a few pictures and walked off. 5 minutes later Phil came walking around the corner, he stood and chatted for a while , from what I remember him saying So where are you guys from … I wanted to come onto the boat but I was needed in the video, I could’ve swam but I would have froze to death’
Then we asked about when we’ll first see the video he said Wednesday and that they were currently editing the video. He also said that ‘the album has a long way to go and the tour won’t be until the end of next year’ then he said bye and that he had a meeting to go to.

After a disappointing cruise, I was delighted to meet the band before the Beehive. Actually, when I think all those fans that came from far away to work on a boat to make a video clip for free was really unfair. The only thing I enjoyed was to meet you after chatting on here for a few years. We were only thanked to have taken part to this video clip and got only a coffee/thee and tiny sandwiches instead of at least a gift signed by the band. I'm sure people that spent so much money for transportation and hotel fees think the same. Everybody thought we would see the guys on the boat. :embarrassed: To meet the band in the flesh made up for it.

Indeed but it was in everyone's mind, as they had to leave their cameras at the entrance, it was not to take pictures or recording songs and it's normal as it wasn't released yet. The fact is we took part to a clip without being rewarded, no meal and me and my guest were shocked to be compelled to pay for a drink. We didn't buy any drink anyway nor others that were seating with us.

Everybody thought we would see the guys on the boat. :embarrassed:
^ There!! ... it was JUST thinking/speculating/hoping that the guys would be there as well, so many people came up with the most amazing scenarios what may happen on the boat. :\
I can totally see where you're coming from and I honestly even do understand your feelings as hopes/expactations always happen and one gets carried away by them easily. :(
But I think it's a little unfair now to say that you were disappointed by the band/the people working for CP as it was mentioned before that 'only' Phil, Miller & Matt would be there and even though they weren't (which was explained afterwards) you just can't blame the CP HQ/the band for not meeting your hopes/dreams/expectations ...
But I guess I shouldn't start arguing in this thread as well :laugh3:

Come on, being in a Coldplay video is BRILLIANT! Are they your favorite band?If you I think you should consider yourself really lucky. We waited around for an hour and a half then one woman (can’t remember her name :@) rung the door bell over at the bakery, they told her to wait on the bench but she stood outside the beehive.
I'm surprised nobody else has said anything about this yet. Is it just me, or is ringing the doorbell completely inappropriate?!?
Indeed but it was in everyone's mind, as they had to leave their cameras at the entrance, it was not to take pictures or recording songs and it's normal as it wasn't released yet. The fact is we took part to a clip without being rewarded, no meal and me and my guest were shocked to be compelled to pay for a drink. We didn't buy any drink anyway nor others that were seating with us.
What? Without being rewarded?!? BEING IN A COLDPLAY VIDEO FOR ALL TIME AND HAVING YOUR VOICE MIXED IN WITH THE SONG IS THE MOST AMAZING REWARD IN AND OF ITSELF.

That would be the greatest thing I'd have ever done... To be able to say "Yeah, I was there!", it's like feeling part of Coldplay! Part of history! Ok, maybe you spent a lot of money, but when you decided to leave you didn't know what would've happened... You should be proud of that! I envy you do much! :smug:

That is outrageous. Very, very inappropriate. I feel uncomfortable just reading this. How are they going to be able to keep a good relationship with their fans if stuff like this happens?

Oh dear, the complaining rears it's ugly head again. I'm done commenting on that topic, but I will say I'm very disappointed in those people if that news did in fact get back to HQ and I'm disappointed in whomever rang that bell! Both of these events might have screwed up our chances of something like this happening again for others to participate in :(

Exactly. And you are probably in the best position of virtually anyone on the boat to acknowledge that, as you travelled such a long distance and almost certainly shelled out one of the biggest amounts of money to be there.

Come on, being in a Coldplay video is BRILLIANT! Are they your favorite band?If you I think you should consider yourself really lucky. Not many fans can say they've been in their favorite band's video.I know I feel really lucky and I think a lot of people on this forum wish they had been there as well.
Also, you chose to pay that price.
I´ve been reading all this reviews and that :\ i feel really disappointed with copldayers that are unhappy of being on the trip.. i wish i was there. no matter what..with or without the band.. like marie said here.. god damnit they are my favo band ever, i wish i was part of a damn christmas video!!! thats EPIC !! Hi Kat_iveson, now I remember you! I perfectly remember the name of the woman who rang at the doorbell at the Bakery (and who also complained about them not coming on the boat the day before) because I saw her! I won't give her name (since she's no more a 15 y-o teenager) here BUT I must say that I have been shocked by this attitude and would advise people never to do this again, it is totally unappropriate!:stunned: If we want the guys to be so nice with fans again as they were yesterday with us, this kind of "accident" must never happen again, it is intrusive, unappropriate, I can't really find my words in english, sorry....but I'm tempted to say "stupid"! I'd like to say that I agree with people who say that we came on the boat trip because we wanted to, and that the band doesn't owe anything to anyone and I find it cheeky to reproach the band for not showing on the boat!I had told in the french thread before the event that some people had high hopes and would be disappointed, and that we had to expect only what was announced! But I must admit that I was a bit disappointed too since what was announced didn't happen either...But Phil explained why the next day and I understand... So this was the negative point of my comment, now let's talk about the positive part !:)
I was LUCKY enough yesterday to meet all the band, I was talking with Kat, Laura and Poopoopidoo when I saw Chris going out of the Beehive, we crossed the road and I introduced myself, telling him that I was on the boat the day before , that it was great fun and I couldn't wait to see the video! We made a picture and he signed my AROBTTH cover, he asked me to spell my name, he seemed to find it strange lol, then I saw Jonny, he told me they had worked until 3 in the morning, that they were very cold and asked how we were on the boat...I asked him for a pic and as we were starting Guy arrived and I asked him if he wanted to be on the picture too and he agreed, they were all so sweet!!! They also sighed my cover, so did Will but I don't know why I didn't ask him for a pic too.... next time , I hope :\ Then Phil arrived after the boys had left , he was sooooooooo nice and took a lot of time to talk to us.... He said that he was very confused for not beeing on the boat the day before since it had been announced and apologized, he said that we would definitely be on the video, that we did a great job etc..... He also said that there was again a lot of work to do on the album and that we had to be patient....etc.... These two days in London were so emotionally intense, I'm so happy right now!

i'm 13 years old so of course i couldnt go, those that are complaining are pathetic, i wish i could of gone..no matter how cold it was or even if hadnt met the band, i love coldplay and all of guys are here are fans...so dnt look at the materialistic side of this..just be satistfied that you're a coldplayer and are going to appear in coldplay's video....and its very rude to ring the Bakery's bell..i thought we wanted LP5 to be released quickly and nicely, ring on the bell is not helping anyone.....tsk tsk

I totally echo that. I had never met Phil before either, and I was mega-impressed with how friendly, helpful and down-to-earth he was.
Having already spent a substantial amount of time with the several of us who were there, he then re-emerged some minutes later with Chris.
We had no idea whether Chris was still around or not, so I'm pretty sure Phil had a lot to do with Chris's "appearance", for which we are all extremely grateful.
I think we all got the impression that Chris was (unsurprisingly) tired following the exertions of the night before, and this made it all the more incredible that he was still prepared to come over and talk to us all.
We all left on a real high after this, that's for sure, and after Chris and Phil disappeared up the road together, there were hugs all round! Together with the boat trip itself, and the evening meet-up on Friday, a truly amazing and unforgettable experience for all concerned.

Presumably because there was still a lot of work to do in the studio in connection with the Christmas Lights project.

Because we are extremely lucky as fans to know where they are based, however we should not abuse the privilege by badgering them and interrupting them while they are trying to work. It's one thing to be lucky enough to bump into them outside, I find it a little stalkery to be knocking on their door. And rude and obnoxious. Just my opinion as a respectful fan.

 If any of them were expecting a delivery of any sort, pizza or otherwise, they would have just taken it from the person. They wouldn't order something and then say, "oh, I can't take it right now, you need to go across the street and wait from me/us to come out to you when I'm ready." That would be rude of them. And that would expose them even more than necessary.
Why's it such a big deal? What's the point of having a door bell that's never rung? I wouldn't have done it either but I don't get what all the fuss is about. It is a place of business. If you are not involved in any way with running the business, there is absolutely no reason for you to be ringing the doorbell. Imagine if all fans who ever went there rang the doorbell. We wouldn't see LP5 for another 3 years because they couldn't get anything done. It's rude to the boys, and it's rude and disrespectful to the fans.
That's just my opinion. But I'm pretty sure 99.42% of the other people here would have the same opinion.

Im so sad how unfair things are. Forgive me for venting but I just can't keep my emotions inside.lol
I know its been talked about TONS of times already but I just wish we could switch out those ungrateful fans with others that would have been happy to be there. Its tough enough being happy for others when you are so JEALOUS of them, but to have to think of people who were not satisfied and got that amazing privilege makes me wanna cry and punch something cuz it makes me mad :(. Ill try to think of the people that realized how fortunate they were so I can be happy for them.
...there I feel better...sorta :P

 If any of them were expecting a delivery of any sort, pizza or otherwise, they would have just taken it from the person. They wouldn't order something and then say, "oh, I can't take it right now, you need to go across the street and wait from me/us to come out to you when I'm ready." That would be rude of them. And that would expose them even more than necessary.
I was only joking about the "pizza delivery" part, hence the . All I was saying was, that at the time I said it, nobody officially knew whether it was a fan or not.
It seems now, further evidence has been offered which suggests the doorbell ringer was indeed someone who was on the boat, which is pretty alarming.:(

its Murphy's OTHER law
The Shittier of a person you are the more good things happen to you
and conversely the nicer you are... the worse your luck and treated in life.
There are exceptions (Kat Iveson is one) but for the most part... yes that is life
and the challege is to become one of those exceptions
therefore Kat... you win at life.

I disagree with this outlook on life. I believe that as ye sow, so shall ye reap. Google it. :D

This made me cry because it describes my findings exactly. However I would find it impossible to become a nasty person so I just have to take what gets thrown at me sadly and carry on regardless
I too know exceptions though :)

a sausage?
thats so random......
and sexual.
Funny enough... Coldplay is pretty much the only thing that is good in my life and has been there and been good since I was 9.
Its part of why I love them
Theyre like something that was constantly wonderful and good and always at my fingertips via ipod when everything else was chaos and ...suckage.
But still.... for all the sewing Ive done... you'd think I could go from South America and wait 5 hours outside a hotel..... and ave it NOT be the one only for the crew.
Or wait outside the right one for an hour but just at the wrong time.
OR..... OR
Get asked the day after their concert in Columbia if I want to try that other hotel again and say "Fuck it" exactly a half hour before Chris would come out of said Hotel and sign autographs.
...this is just one tiny example of how everything I've reaped so far is FAIL!

will you people stop attacking and insulting those people who were not satisfied with the trip? who are you to call them ungrateful? not all the fans live in London and not all the fans can afford just stopping by there. so cut it out already,it's really getting annoying. everyone is entitled to their own opinion, show some respect.

I agree with you, you're totally right ! First of all, people should mind their own business instead of attacking anybody out there without proof.:inquisitive:

Fixyougirl,
Out of all the negative comments, yours annoys me the most..The way you said" we took part in a clip without being rewarded"really just sickened me..
Im sorry if I'm coming across so badly, but your words just have such expectations in them..What would you have liked for a reward.???.
Have you ever given a gift without expecting one back or are you the type that needs to be "rewarded"when you give a gift...
You don't have to get sick for it. I'm not at all. Perhaps our expectations were too high (to meet one of the guys on the boat for instance), but I think, as Chris said he was delighted that we were there and they couldn't come to the boat, a little reward for the participation in their video clip wouldn't have been something luxurious in compensation of the fees to be there. Probably your fees have been much higher than mine.

Gee, this is so sweet and true! Thats exactly how I feel and why I think that I wont stop beeing a Coldplay fan, never.

We choose to be there, so we could afford it (otherwise we wouldn't be there). We all knew what we signed up for a boat trip, nothing else. I really don't get why people aren't satisfied, we will be in the new Coldplay video! I feel that anyone who thinks that's not enough is ungrateful. And that's my opinion.

My expectations weren't too high. Why would you need a reward for being in the Video. Being in the video is already a reward.
