Hey all.

I was just listening to Thom Yorke's music, and I thought that I'd make a thread about it!

So, It's all about his music as a solo artist ( so, that sadly means no Radiohead).

So, to start off...I was listening to "Hearing Damage" and I loved the drumbeat, It's a bit odd though, but it is a good song...

Thom is awesome... yeah he is really intimidating, and hates to be photographed, but he's an incredible musician!

i think too many people are obsessed with him.

No more ppl are obsessed with Thom, than they are Chris Martin. And that goes for most successful front men.




Thom is a brilliant musician. And we do have a Thom Yorke thread on here already too :)

generally very talented. I didn't like the eraser at all, but his in rainbows era piano stuff is brilliance.

I actually haven't really listened to much Thom Yorke solo stuff. Radiohead is one of my favorite bands, but I just have little interest in his solo stuff so far. :shrug:

Not as great a songwriter as Noel Gallagher or as good a melody maker as Chris Martin. Plus he's a self obsessed pretentious shit. Peace out

He's a great singer and nice writer. He's frontman to a wonderful band and deserves a lot of respect, but yeah, I think too many people are too obsessed with him.

As for the songwriting, you can't possibly try to compare Noel Gallagher working alone and Radiohead as a whole...
