cos that's what my little sister's is doing - it can't be healthy. oh my god - i've just realised - do you take fish to the vets? how? you can hardly take them in a shoe box with holes in the lid can you? well, i suppose you could, but the vet wouldn't be able to help then. hmmmmm...i think i'm tired, ignore my rambling, i'm going to sleep. bye!

fish swimming on their sides is definitely not a sign of good health! it may be oxygen related in which case try to put some form of air jet into the water to oxygenate the water for the poor fishies... I hope they get better! :(

Totally unrelated but a while back a mate's turtle fell 40ft off his apartment balcony onto a concrete pavement... and survived
We found it cowering in his garden at tea-time the day after :o

If fish are swimming on their side they'll be dead soon, I've seen it too many times
*throws dead beta fish around the room*

I can't see it at the moment - but i think it's in it's house. I hope it is anyway. :? maybe the turtle was a teenage mutant hero turtle in disguise...you never know.
