Coldplay are pleased to announce a tour of Latin America for February/March 2010. The seven stadium shows will mark the end of the band's Viva La Vida world tour, which has so far seen them play 159 shows to 2.75 million fans across 25 countries.

I've been checking flights to both Guadalajara and Monterrey from Los Angeles- it's only $256 from Los Angeles to Guadalajara, and $411 to Monterrey. What to do, what to do...

una amiga hablo a ticketmaster hoy varias veces, preguntando por que no habian publicado nada sobre el concierto en guadalajara, y le dijeron que no tienen informacion aun nada oficial que no les han confirmado nada de precios, ni secciones ni nada. que no saben si habra concierto en gdl.

Esque es increible la falta de información por parte de ellos y su "mala actitud" diría yo porque la verdad no se veían preocupados ni nada (excepto por el twitter de ocesa, ellos respondían de buena manera y amables).

Ahhh ok ok, como quien dice la parte de enfrente de GA! :idea2:, se me hace raro que hay tanta diferencia en los precios de los del golden no se que y los demás, casi el doble :shrug: y estan los de 900 y algo pero son los palcos pero esos no cuentan jaja :P
Pues mejor que esa persona posteé por postear y no me deje hablando aquí sola jajaj :P
Pues es que en cancha si les va a kedar algo lejos el escenario y los de gradas todavia mas. La vdd, la unica gracia que tienen los palcos es la comodidad porque van a estar hasta el infinito y mas alla :P

Question, is the golden circle the area by the stage or the pit as we call it in my area? I want to buy a ticket but I am so confused. Also, the amount of money is in pesos, correct? I saw a price for $1500, but that's pesos so I would need to convert it to the US dollar.
Sorry if these are dumb questions but I feel lost when I am on the ticketmaster website. Even with the translation, I feel so confused. LOL!!

If you wire the money like using western union, it gets sent in minutes. I money grammed cash and Pris got my tickets for me. It took 10 minutes to send it. If you wire the money to Eduardo, I'm sure he would help you.

Ahora en 2010 la cantante británica regresa a tierra azteca de la mano de Coldplay para cumplir uno de sus sueños: tocar en un gran escenario como es el Foro Sol.
“Estoy un poco nerviosa, sé que va a ser un gran show con Coldplay. En 2000 tuve unas vacaciones grandiosas allá, me encantó. Esta vez regreso para cumplir mi sueño de tocar en un gran escenario, es un reto enorme pero me tiene muy emocionada”, explicó Natasha vía telefónica desde Londres, Inglaterra.
A pesar de que le han dicho que el público mexicano era muy difícil, la nominada como Mejor Artista Femenina Solista Británica para los Brit Awards no lo cree así, por lo que aceptó la invitación que Coldplay le hizo para ser parte de la gira Viva la Vida 2010, en su etapa por América Latina.
“Chris Martin me invitó personalmente a ser parte de su gira desde hace tiempo, pero yo no me podía subir a un avión porque me encontraba presentando Two Suns , su más reciente álbum.
“Al final de ese tour Chris me dijo que le encantó mi disco y que quería que fuera con ellos a la gira, y acepté.
“Al final decidimos que tocaríamos juntos en el tour de América, lo cual será maravilloso porque acá en Inglaterra esta helando y lloviendo, el clima es terrible y creo que ir para allá va a estar muy bien tanto por el clima por lo que vamos a hacer, estoy muy contenta de que esto suceda”, comentó la simpática británica.
Para Natasha, el que personalidades como Martin, de Coldplay, o Tom York, de Radiohead, aplaudan su trabajo es algo halagador, sin embargo no se eleva y se limita a continuar trabajando.
“Es halagador pero al mismo tiempo es un poco loco que alguien tan exitoso piense eso de mí, me da pena y sólo puedo decir gracias. Es algo con lo que no me clavo tanto porque al final de cuentas todos somos seres humanos y todos tratamos de hacer un buen trabajo.
“Nos apoyamos mutuamente, y cuando ellos me muestran su apoyo de esa forma lo único que puedo hacer es agradecerlo porque en realidad los músicos somos como una familia”, reflexionó Khan.
Para los conciertos del 6 y 7 de marzo en el Foro Sol, Bat for Lashes presentará su disco Two Suns, además de tocar los temas de Fur and Gold, su primera producción y por la que también estuvieron nominados en dos categorías para los Brit Awards de 2009.
En cuanto a los premios, Bat for Lashes no se preocupa ya que, con tan sólo un par de discos han sido nominados para los premios británicos de la música en dos ocasiones, pero es algo que no buscan y que solamente disfrutan.
“Sigo en shock porque es mi segundo disco y por segunda ocasión me nominaron para estos premios, lo cual es bastante loco, sobre todo porque hay otras chicas en mi categoría que son muy famosas en Inglaterra y grandes vendedoras de discos.
“Es muy chistoso estar con tantos grandes artistas conviviendo en las fiestas y en la alfombra roja, es muy divertido estar con ellos tomando champaña.

Although she's been told that the Mexican public was very difficult, the nominee for Best British Female Solo Artist for the Brit Awards did not think so, so she accepted Coldplay's invitation to be part of the Viva La Vida 2010 tour, in its Latin America stage.
"Chris Martin invited me personally to be part of their tour a while ago, but I couldn't do it because I was presenting Two Suns", her latest album.

I recorded it but not really a pic as he played it when the lights are off just before yellow starts so basically audio.
The crowd was awesome! Better than both nights in Mexico City combined! I talked to Dan Green before show started and crowd was already going wild with what I would describe as a chanting/football style who can be loudest challenge between sections and Dan said this is going to be a great crowd. I told him he might have to go turn the sound up some more. :p

And the audience, I haven't never attended a concert neither in Guadalajara nor in Monterrey but everyone says that they are full of posers and boring people, that the best concerts are in Mexico City... but I think things may be changing a little bit because I went to both shows in Mexico City, and for the second one I was in front of the stage, so the audience there was crazy as usual, but for the first one I was a little far for the stage and I have to say that it was full of posers and "fresas"... it seems that all the young high society from Mexico City was there... I really hated them, those stupid rich boys were there only because they had the money for going and because it was "the event of the day" but they were more worried about getting drunk as fast as possible than actually see the band.

.- I got to the stadium by 5.30pm or something like that, the middle part and the left part of the stage were somewhat full so I decided to go to the other side (Guy's side) and I was lucky enough to see that there wasn't people on that side. So I managed to get second row next to the right side ramp :D

Ok, ok... Actually I can't think anything more to complain about.
At the end the setlist was pretty good, I wasn't really looking forward to Lost! but I must admit I enjoyed it and the stage looked really cool.

I'm sorry Christa! :bigcry: I just checked my vids from Guadalajara and my LiJ vid starts right after he sang the Warning Sign lines :bigcry:
I didn't take a single pic at this gig, I just did videos. I'll upload them as soon as YT stops being so annoying and I have TONS of vids from Mexico city, Guadalajara and Monterrey, so it's gonna take a while for it all to be uploaded and posted here. I do have to say, that this was by far the best of the 4 gigs :D The vibe was great, people were doing the wave before the band even showed up, everyone was incredibly loud and singing to the top of their lungs, and the bra-throwing to the c-stage was just hilarious :lol: I've got a vid of the c-stage set when you can see them flying in, hiting Will's arm and his face of utter shock :lol: I'll post them as soon as posible! :D
