The time has arrived to start buying your Coldplaying Wembley t-shirts! :cheesy:

A few unexpected bumps in the road have forced us to use Cafepress rather than Spreadshirt like we voted for, but all is ready to go! (However, t-shirt customization is no longer an option).

There is also a UK site at http://www.cafepress.co.uk/Coldplaying (http://www.cafepress.co.uk/Coldplaying). However, you can change the currency to GBP with a drop-down menu from the main link, and we're not sure if the dispatch center is different from the UK site.

Apart from the standard yellow t-shirt (US $15.99/£11.00/€12.00), there is also a maternity shirt (US $23.99/£16.50/€18.00) for the few pregnant Coldplayers in attendance, and a messenger bag (US $18.99/£13.00/€14.00)! Unfortunately, the maternity shirt only comes in white, but it can probably be dyed yellow to match the rest of us :D. If you're wary about dyeing, it might be best to order an extra-large yellow shirt.

T-shirts are sold at face value, and Coldplaying.com won't be making a profit, nor will any money go to charity.

The butterfly design will be on sale during the month of July. Then, in August, the butterfly design will be taken down and Anna's design, which is very similar to the original design, will be put up for sale.


In case anyone is confused, here is how to buy your shirt:

1. Visit http://www.cafepress.com/Coldplaying. A drop-down menu at the top of the page changes the currency. Click on the item you would like to buy.

2. Select your size and quantity of shirts and click "ADD TO CART." You will then be taken to your shopping cart. If you wish to buy other items, click "KEEP SHOPPING" and select your other items. Otherwise, click "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT."

3. Enter your email address and password if you have bought from Cafepress before. Otherwise, agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and continue.

4. Enter all your information as asked. Items with a * are required fields. Cafepress seems to ship to almost any country imaginable, and shipping prices will vary. Click CONTINUE at the bottom when complete to review your order.

5. Review your order summary to make sure all information is correct and click "PLACE MY ORDER" once. An email receipt will be sent to the email you provided, and voila! Your Coldplaying Wembley shirt will arrive to your address soon :D.

yup, its a men's tee because the ladies came in "wishy washy yellow" and not "bright burn the boys retinas yellow" :D

Sept could go either way, so prepare for hot & cold when you pack. if we have an indian summer, you could find your t-shirt is enough.

I'm thinking of taking a hoody & a long-sleeved t-shirt, either one will go underneath the yellow shirt depending on the day's temperature.

Even small men's shirts can still be boxy and big for me too. I was thinking if I was confident enough, I would try to trim the collar and the sleeves a bit to make it a bit more attractive, but I'll probably be too worried I'll ruin it :P.

so this is so you can kind of see the fit...i got a small, which is obviously too boxy for me, but it does work. and yes, i know one sleeve is rolled up and the other isn't...that's to show how long the sleeve actually is, and how you can roll it up to make it slightly more fitted :P.

i can't wait to customize the back :D. i already have an idea, it's just a matter of finding the materials and the time. because the graphic is much smaller than i personally anticipated, i think it would be really fun if everyone/most people customized the back or sleeves!

But I think it's good like this because if it was bigger, the first and last letter would be crumpled (?) when you're arms are not spread.

don't worry :) it ships quicker in the US, because cafepress are there. takes a while longer to the EU as it has to go through customs and be checked for taxes.

we ordered our VLV stuff about 3/4 weeks before the Dec shows and got them in time.

If you're about the same sort of build as I am, which is somewhere between skinny and average (sorry I can't be more descriptive...but I'm a small person in general), I would recommend a small, even if you are a bit taller. As you can see in the picture, the shirt is pretty long and comes down to halfway down the tops of my legs, so length shouldn't be a problem. However, it also all depends on how you want it to fit...I like things fitted, but not skin-tight, so the small is the best I'm going to get :D

they do have a size chart on the site. from my experience last year, they are generous sizings.

I still don't know if travel or not to Wembley, but I'm considering the safety of my daughter (yes, its a girl ;) ) . I will be in my 8th pregnancy month in september.., and I'm not allowed to use airlines, the alternative is 10-12 or more hours traveling by train alone (my husband works that morning). I will be in my 8th pregnancy month in september.., and I'm not allowed to use airlines, the alternative is 10-12 or more hours traveling by train alone (my husband works that morning). Ok, so the shop is up and running again with the new designs (:dance:), but I've been having a problem and I was wondering if any one else from the UK is experiencing this. Basically, when you get to the Billing information page, it doesn't allow me to enter the full 18 digit card number, it goes up to 16 and you can't type in anymore digits. I've never had this problem before, so I might be missing something, but I was wondering if anyone else from the UK was getting this.

EDIT: Ah, just figured out what's going on - cafepress don't accept my SOLO/MAESTRO card. Figures.
I guess I'm going to have to find another way to order, which might involve using another site. But anyway. I just hope no one else runs into this problem :\

I didn't realise they only took credit cards.

don't worry, they quite often take a little while longer when you're not in the Us. the parcels have to clear the various customs departments.

OK, I finally ordered the second-edition ones, one for me and one for Semy, who was having issues with Cafepress :dance:. I just hope my dad doesn't decide to look at my debit card statement in the near future :P.

I was in the craft store the other day looking for the right materials to customize my shirt the way I had in mind, but they didn't have what I was looking for :sad:. I'll either just leave it as-is or come up with a plan B.

Once again, they can't be sold out, as long as CafePress is still in stock of yellow tshirts. However, the butterfly design will be removed from sale on August 1 to make way for the second design. It's a good idea to order before then.
