Here is a poem I wrote 3 yrs. ago

*LITTLE GIRL*
When I was a little girl
the world was the color of a rose
there were no rules to impose
in my world no violence to control.
Back then for the future I was eagier
not knowing that my present was much easier.
If I could be a little girl
just waiting for the ice-cream man at the door.
A little girl with a world pink as a rose.
The simphony in my ears
so simple and dear.
Innocent and pure are little girls.

(Go figure what was going through my mind when I wrote it :shrug: )

Here's one I found by chance in a newspaper a couple of Valentine's Days ago:

For no other reason than I love you wholly, I am here.
For this one night, at least,
The world has shrunk to a boyish breast
Upon which my head, brilliant and exhausted, rests.
And I can know of nothing more complete.
