My dad is getting 206, but what is with all the extra charges and stuff? Do they always do that? Apparently it's showing up as like over $100 per ticket, and I didn't think tickets in that section would be so expensive. I guess I'm just looking for some input... is this worth it? I mean, they're not extraordinarily close per se, but they definitely won't look like ants. And you're practically center of stage, which is really good for both audio and visual. I've seen DMB there a few times myself, which years have you gone? I was there in '04, '05, and '08.

mine were back in 98, 99, 00. i saw dmb about 13 times and followed dave and tim through sc in 2000 for 3 nights. what a show those guys put on (haven't seen them since then). i think coldplay is much better live as far as entertainment but dmb switches setlists so much and jam a little which is awesome.

I just bought two tickets for section 201 row XX. (I checked the information numerous times and that's exactly what it says.) I'm a bit confused seeing as there is no identifiable row XX in that section at all on the provided map. Is it safe to assume the layout will be a bit different for the show? (Also, I noticed a different seating chart for Def Leppard.) Does anyone have a vague idea about where I would possibly end up?

I applied 3 weeks ago. I know the earliest they might contact me is around April 25.

Now that Snow Patrol is opening for the June concerts, I'm gonna apply for New Orleans.

I just wonder if I can tell them that I can fly in, I was planning to go to NOLA this summer anyway, so what better time than June 6 :lol:

hey, at least you have viewers and watchers, lol, when I put my charlotte ones on there, NO ONE even viewed them

try putting them on stubhub.com. I put my charlotte ones on there and it seems like alot of people put tickets on there, and it tells you how much people have sold theirs for, etc. it seems to be promising.

i think that's what i'll do. it's amazing that they won't sell. to get seats to the last atlanta show, i had to pay over $200 each for 25 rows back. now i can't give away 3 seats that are closer than that.

There's just too much a flood of tickets I think since they released better seats and everyone is trying to get rid of their other ones, lol. I mean, you search coldplay on ebay and it's almost all tickets... I think all those stupid scalpers will get screwed... I hope so, it will teach them a lesson...

I love the "postcards" banner idea....I think that might get them to stop when pulling into the venue or come out during soundcheck better than any other sign.
At the Detroit show in Nov. I changed some words from LIJ and put on a banner & Chris sang it that way. I'm gonna put my thinking cap on to try to come up with a cool design. Let me know if you've got any ideas and we can bounce them off each other. 18 days ! ~~Kelly

Hi Chloe, Kelly here....my friend and I are going to sort of be flexible.....like we did at the warchild gig...sort of cruise by the venue randomly during the day. If there's anybody in line, that's when we stop and park it there for the remainder.

I've warned my not coldplay crazy friend that for her it might be a long day but she claims not to care.:)

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin doesn’t know if Michael Stipe will be on hand when Coldplay returns to Atlanta Sunday, but having R.E.M.’s lead singer sit in with Martin’s band back in 2005 was “a front man’s wet dream,” Martin says.

One might imagine the admiration goes both ways, considering the triple-Grammy-winning, multimillion-selling success of Coldplay’s latest album, “Viva La Vida.”

The extended tour that began almost a year ago to support the album brought Coldplay to Atlanta last November, and brings them back to perform at the Lakewood Amphitheater Sunday. In a recent telephone interview from Los Angeles, Martin talked about selling out arenas and the thunderstorm in the Abu Dhabi desert that greeted one of Coldplay’s recent outdoor concerts: “I think it was God telling us to shut up.”

I asked him (Chris), I read somewhere that Coldplay's biggest thrill is playing live, but on a massive tour like the VLV one they are on right now, i was wondering if it gets repetitive and somewhat stressful at times?

He answered something like, "well when were 15, we used to have one concert a semester if we were lucky. We used to have to look forward to a concert 7 weeks in advance, but now we are playing 4-5 concerts a week, and doesnt get repetetive and we enjoy it so much." <-----its close but dont quote me on it.

LOL. cannot wait for the show! hope they add a few songs to the set, but i don't imagine they will. i will lose my mind if they play swallowed in the sea. just love that song....
