Good afternoon. We're very pleased to announce that Coldplay will be heading back to Canada and America for a 14-date tour in July and August. Tickets will be available from here. And the shows are as follows:

Live Nation has taken over all tickets sales for this venue as of this year, so it probably won't be on Ticketmaster at all.

And we're all nervous... I've had nightmares about it since they announced the date :lol:

I ordered tickets via my iPhone, and I got right in. Section 7 ROW AA, kinda twards the back but it's under cover :-). I've seen a show at the comcast center before and you can't go wrong with covered seats. There all decently close in my book. ;-) I don't know about the uncovered seats though...

Why can't regular people get good tickets to these shows anymore? The best available when I went in right at 10 was section 13! When I reloaded, it was sold out except for Lawn.

Prior to the Viva tour, I never sat further than 10 rows from the stage. Nowadays,
so many tickets are held and not even put e on sale, and even the mediocre seats are gone in pre-sales before regular people go to purchase on the actual sale date.

There was actually once a time where if you called a ticket agency right at the sale time and got through, you might actually get tickets right up front! That seems like a ridiculous concept now, and it makes me really sad about the state of music and live shows for A-List bands.

I didn't end up buying anything for the show and I guess I'll have to fight through the bloated prices on StubHub or something if I want to try to get somewhere within normal vision range of the stage.

ohmystarisfading, I am calling Live Nation right now. My credit card company told me to call them first, and then they will possibly intervene. Don't get me wrong , I would spend hundreds of dollars for GOOD Coldplay seats, I have no problem paying more money for decent seats. But I definitely selected Pavillion for $97 dollars and they gave me upper reserved and charged me full price. That is so deceptive in my opinion. ^Yeah, call Live Nation. It's suspicious that they don't put the seating chart along with your search results. I bet those tickets you got you should be in the $75 ($100 with fees) category.

Don't get me wrong , I would spend hundreds of dollars for GOOD Coldplay seats, I have no problem paying more money for decent seats. But I definitely selected Pavillion for $97 dollars and they gave me upper reserved and charged me full price. That is so deceptive in my opinion. Yeah, this has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I didn't even spend this much when I got FLOOR seats at the Garden last year. I think my two seats only came out to $220 or something, and now they're charging me $250 for Upper Reserved seats?? :veryangry2:

Yeah I got really good seats for Hartford this summer, on the lower section right by the side of the stage but then I won a contest to sit in the front row. Good news, my order was refunded. They guy at Live Nation said he wasn't sure if it was covered or not, so he would refund my tickets. I am going to try again for better seats, or lawn seats depending on what they will charge me and I am printing out the seating chart right now.

I just went and bought lawn seats (boo) but if you look under the $59 seating you can get in sections 13 and 14, I just looked but figured it wasn't worth it at this point and hopefully I can get tickets on ebay or something or hopefully win another contest!! My boyfriend, best friend and I are gonna get creative and hopefully find a way to win them. Now I feel like I should have got the $59 ones, but they still aren't covered by the pavillion so I don't know. NOTE TO SELF: Next time, do the presale! Lol

Don't worry! Soon a thread for pre-concert to-do's will be created. I was telling this other guy about creating it, so that people can share tips and stuff to do such as getting early to the venue, posters, clothing, stalking (eeerrr...attempting to meet the band :lol:)

Just checked live nation and they have added a feature where it lets you pick from the seating chart and shows you what seats are available. There doesn't look like there is much of anything left under the covered pavillion. Just wanted to let everyone know!!

The whole process has been such a mess. Same thing happened to me - I got a pair in Section 12, Row B for $97.50/ea, but then I just looked and there is a pair available in Section 14, Row D for $79.50/ea. Maybe just because section 12 is directly in the middle? Seems like bad/arbitrary pricing, to me.

Although I agree, I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you... We'll see what the setlist is like when they start playing in July, but I doubt there will be many non-singles played from Parachutes or even AROBTTH. :\

(Although there's probably a slightly higher chance of hearing older songs on this tour because it's not necessarily promoting VLVOD since it'll be more than a year after the album came out. *shrug*)

I'd like to know your opinion about this project a guy had : at the Coldplay concert in Paris-Parc des Princes, people will come dressed in red or/and white (Viva la Vida colors) and maybe a crown, to show how much we love Coldplay and to leave them a good memory of this gig (I'm sure this concert will give us a great memory !)The guy made a group in facebook and website etc... as I see it's working. So, do you think it's a good idea ?

I'm under the stage having a tidy up when the doors open to the punters in Bologna. This lot are already singing the Viva tune as they stream onto the floor. An Italian fansite has also organised the bringing of balloons, which they're bouncing and batting about the place long before the band take the stage. If they're this noisy and excitable at an empty stage, the gig can only be a good 'un.

And indeed it is. I can't remember a louder crowd this whole tour. It's a great point in the tour to get a crowd like this. The set has settled to the point where the band can actually start really relaxing and enjoying it, as well as being aware of what's going on around them. We're also about five weeks into a run of shows and frankly, everyone is knackered. A vibe like tonight lifts everyone like a very, loud cheering and screaming shot in the arm. The balloons make an appearance on the B Stage, as one makes its way up. Chris announces that he will perform "the next song as a fat man. This is what Coldplay will look like in thirty years' time" The balloon goes up the shirt and true to his word, the song is delivered in a most overweight fashion.

As well as balloons, there are gold paper crowns from another fansite, presumably in tribute to Anton Corbijn's Viva La Vida video. Chris picks one up in the midst of the song and it soon ends up perched on Guy's head. Rather suits him, actually

It's a tough call rooroo, about posting ticket offers. We all hate scalpers but not all folks with tickets for sale fall into that category

I know last time the boys played Boston the best I could do through regular ticket sales was nosebleed seats up in the rafters. I was so disappointed so I also entered one of the ticketmaster auctions to try and get much better seats. But the hitch was I could get out bid on those and end up with nothing, that's why I bought the other ones.

In the end I ended up getting great seats at a reasonable price through the auction and then had 2 other tickets to try to resell. So...I posted them here and cross posted them on Stubhub. In the end they sold through stubhub, but I certainly didn't feel like a scalper putting them on here at face.

I just saw that they added a pit section for this show. Of course, the tickets are all gone now. I tried Stubhub and although they have these tickets in the $200 range, with Stubhub's crazy fees and shipping, it's closer to $290 per ticket. Does anyone have 2 extra or had any luck on Ebay for less than $250/ticket?

Last time out with the Twisted Logic tour the pit at Mansfield was pretty small. About 5 folks deep and only as wide as the front of the A section (so as not to block the asles back up the two side sections is my guess). It did appear that the venue had removed the first couple of rows of seats in the A sectio to give more room for the pit.

Can't wait for this show! Coming all the way up from Scranton, PA after our show got cancelled a few months ago. This is my first time seeing Coldplay since the Today Show last year, so it's most definitely going to be awesome. 15th row, yesssssssss.

im like two rows in from the 12th section. and im seats 17 and 18 and thats makes me like right in the middle almost im so excited i like watching concerts from like and evelated view its easier to see everything :rolleyes:
but thats just me and yeah i know my mom was looking into pit but i told her not to get them because then we couldnt go see the bstage and cstage :wacky: i think im right by the bstage :thinking: i dont know yet ill be able to tell when i get there! wow :stunned: section 3 is close :stunned:

Well i am actually not by the ramp where he runs Viva or lij or imp.:rolleyes:

I am saying that i am exactly straight to the stage from where Chris sings and also when he's on the piano.Exactly straight to the stage where Chris sings through his microphone during songs.:)But also i am near to the ramp too.:)

Because i am almost front in the 6th section just some rows behind.

I think the people in the 1,2,3 sections can view the ramp.

But i can see the b-stage very near and clearly.:D

I'll also try to be near for the c-stage if possible.:rolleyes:

And ofcourse i don't like LiveNation website.They're frauds.:embarassed:

I desperately want a ticket upgrade (right n ow I have lawn seats--if you read my earlier posts you can see that me and a few other people got screwed over by live nation)) so my friends and I were planning on making a whole day of it if we can tailgate and stuff (which I felt like I read somewhere that you can't). Anyone else have similar plans? :)

I'm pretty sure you can tailgate because I plan on it all day. I know for other shows like Dave Matthews Band there was but I could be mistaken so don't take my word on it.

im not due to arrive at my hotel in mansfield till about 2 i think and the hotels 8 minutes from the concert (i found that out from my good friend mapquest :smug2:)
so that gives me about 3 hours to freak out prio to the show and get ready :wacky:
