Following our previous announcements of Chris's upcoming appearances on Absolute (http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=272), Xfm (http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=276&page=0) and Edith Bowman's Radio 1 show (http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=278), we can now confirm that he will also be going into BBC 6Music on Friday (Jan 30th) from 5-6pm to appear on Steve Lamacq (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gtb9l/microsite)'s show. The following day (Jan 31st), Chris will be on Jonathan Ross (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/ross/)'s show on BBC Radio 2, from 11.30am-12.30pm.

yeah, i bet that all this promo has something to do with the grammys. i just wonder if the boys themselves care that much, or it's all EMI pushing them to score the label wins so they could profit off of it.

i guess they probably have a lot of that success ambition in them, wanting their singles to chart and all, but when i'm in my idealistic coldplay mindset, they don't care about any of that stuff and it's all big bad EMI that makes them be so huge and in the public eye :P

I first fell in love with Coldplay listening to Jonathan Ross' show... Chris was on just after AROBTTH came out. I'd never heard Parachutes, just the singles and hadn't paid them much attention.

Anyway, Chris was on, rambling on in his self-derprecating way about all sorts of things, and I thought "He sounds like a really nice guy", so I went out and bought the album that afternoon.

£45 is quite expensive but i think i could manage it, what are hotel prices like around wembley? Hotels + trains im thinking could come up to around £120-£150

You could attend MAIN SQUARE FESTIVAL in Arras which is located near Lille (northern France). It will start from 2nd to 5th of July. On Fnac.com you could book on 5th of February at 10 am (9 am GMT). There will be other singers such as Lenny Kravitz and Buffy. YOu could camp over there too.

CHRIS MARTIN has hinted — yet again — about a possible COLDPLAY split.

During a radio interview he said: “Bands have a shelf life, you know, and we’re getting towards the end of the shelf.”

When asked if he was paving the way for a solo album, Chris initially replied, “yeah”, then quickly added, “absolutely not”.

I told you last November how Coldplay were in Trouble and planned on ending things in 2010.
