Coldplayzone exclusively worldwide can announce that Coldplay will hold a concert at the Parc De Prince in Paris, France, on September 7th 2009 (as part of tour that the band will hold in various European stadiums for next year).

The announcement - yet unofficial, but that will be made official and finally confirmed on December 26th - comes from the website of the Capitol International.

On 9th it was sold out within a few hours' time but on 10th it took some time before it was sold out as people had already booked the first day (as i had). I think we must hurry to book tickets for Parc des Princes as soon as tickets are on sale. As for Bercy, Coldplay will probably give a second concert the following day if tickets are sold out that quickly.:stunned:

(I'm all for camping out for Coldplay, but I think exploring Paris would take precedence in this case if your answer is like 24 hours!) Looking at pictures of Parc des Princes, you could be VERY far back on the pitch. :laugh4:

we've been talking about it in the French thread, and compared with what people did when they went to see Muse there. So basically, most of them think 1pm would be alright for you to get a very good spot.
BUT, we, crazy fans, will probably be there VERY VERY VERY EARLY in the morning.. although you should be fine if you decide to make it to the venue a bit later than us.. :)
others think of getting to the venue around 10am.

Apparently some people arriving around 14h30 ended up close to the barriers next to people who arrived at 8... so 11 or 12 might be ok.

I'll have a look on livenation on 3rd to see how much they sell tickets. I usually buy my tickets for French venues on fnac.fr or ticketnet.fr I have always buy tickets on there. On FNAC I can go to take them in the afternoon at the store itself (FNAC) even though I bought them online the same day. On ticketnet they send you your tickets and you pay extra fees because they send them by special post to be sure you'll receive them (en recommandé).

On LiveNation.fr, the same thing happened for the Depeche Mode gig at Stade de France last December. There were also pre-sale tickets via Ticketnet and a VIP code; a good trick to get "Pelouse Or" tickets.

However, the best seats were sold the day of the sale. I think it will be the same for Coldplay.

No. For Depeche Mode, the best seats from my point of view (and from other fans) were sold the day of the sale.

Though, pre-sale seats were not bad but not the best you could have.

I'm looking forward to having the prices for each category (from 1 to 3). But if it is over 100€ for the best seats, I will definitely take a standing ticket next Wednesday (around 60€, that would be ok).

And don't forget that in 2009, U2 will be on tour and I do not want to miss them!

I've always booked concert tickets on fnac.com or ticketnet but not on other websites out of fear to be had. If you buy some tickets the amount may be big. As for me i need 3 tickets. On Fnac.com you can take afterwards your tickets in the afternoon at the FNAC, no fee to pay to send you your tickets. I've always choosen the seats I wanted. However, I've never been to Parc des Princes. I've chosen my seats in Zenith in Paris, and P.O.P.B. from FNAC.com or ticketnet. If i were you i would wait for 7th. It's what i'm going to do.

Ouais bon on va eviter l'anglais !
Voilà..; je voudrai savoir ou trouver le code pour aller au parc voir coldplay (ca sera mon 3emem cconcert.. après celui de 2005 et de septembre ou jai fièremement gagnée la setlist ^^)
Parce que oui jai veillée jusqu'a 5h du matin.. et oui j'ai un peu paniquée en voyant les places fanclub Oo
