Best Friendship between two people (or best couple), i have seen loads of nice ones Daniel & Daniella, Christa and CookyMnstr, Ren and Lore, Nathan and Jack :rolleyes:, and ,lot's more...

That WOULD be brilliant...Post other ideas for next year!

i love Lore's idea, but what about a video contest like the "Lost" one just for coldplayers. we could pick a song and have a contest for it.

maybe an old b-side or a song from the previous albums. I dont feel like doing something from the new album nor prospekt's march.. but that's just me :)

I like that alot. We could make it last along time during the year :D First off, a poll to decide the song. Then once everyone's made their videos, a vote to decide which 5 (or any other random number you like) make it to the shortlist for the Coldplaying Award.

if we do a coldplayer vid contest how about it gets decided right before Wembley? Even if people are not going (me probably) it could be like a pre-party send off and then everyone would have lots to discuss while there are sleeping outside Wembley waiting to storm the gates?

this would give everyone the summer to make theirs

I think the best idea is to cut out the best new band/best album/best group etc, and for the rest of the areas have 2 stage voting. It might be harder but I'm pretty sure it will get more votes in if you give people a list of day 5 to choice from.

what about an award for best gig of the year? of the tour? it would be kind of hard casue the tour was sooo long. but its an idea, i dont know how it would be decided at all but its an idea to play with.

so if we do a vid competition we would need to start it soon . if everyone liked the idea it should be campaigned to see if it would be popular. If Jen and Ian think this is something we should move forward with I could get the ball rolling with a thread to see if there was interest and would love to know if anyone would like to help me organize it since i cant even upload a pic or vid. Jen and Ian would obviously oversee it . it could be a fun summer project for everyone.

Simon suggested this a while ago and I brought it up again a few weeks ago to no reply. I think this be good idea, but my spin on it was maybe it should have its own awards run independently and the top honour gets a mention in the awards section. I dunno, but I do like this one.
