All four Japanese dates on sale now

Good afternoon. We can confirm that Coldplay are playing a second show at the Tokyo Super Arena, on February 11th 2009. Tickets are available for all four Japanese shows from http://www.creativeman.co.jp/. The dates are as follows:

Feb 11th - Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena
Feb 12th - Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena
Feb 14th - Osaka, Kobe World Kinen Hall
Feb 15th - Osaka, Kobe World Kinen Hall

Gutted to be missing this as I couldn't work out my trip back quite yet, but to be honest it's not an incredible venue (though the next door John lennon museum's pretty cool), and I much prefer the Osaka crowds to Tokyo area ones, so those are the shows that are really gonna hurt :cry:

Lol @ this being called a 'Tokyo' show - might as well call gigs in Brighton 'London' shows :P

Really Jenjie? I don't know what's more embarrassing, six years living in Japan and not remembering how their time differs from the UK, or 27 living in the UK and not knowing how BST works!! :laugh3::embarassed:

I'm managing to quite successfully convince myself that I'm gonna be gald to miss these Saitama gigs. I get distraught when Chris changes the 'dreaming of the Osaka sun' lyrics like he did at one of the London gigs. Wonder if it'll be 'Tokyo' or 'Kanto'. Surely won't be 'Saitama' (the armpit of Japan - though I jest - I do say that with affection) as they won't even admit they're playing there :P

Coldplay in Tokyo

First concert of 2009! COLDPLAY~

To be honest, I haven’t been following them since their 3rd album, X &Y, as I was more than a little disappointed. I don’t remember why really.

I’ve always thought that Chris Martin has the most heavenly voice though. He sounds like some gorgeous, tortured, angsty angel. And he didn’t disappoint last night. His erratic-hyper-slow-mo-bouncing-against-invisible-barriers-and-off-the-wall style of dancing was also strangely mesmerizing. And the two HD(?) screens flanking the stage was Serious Stuff. You could see everything perfectly. I liked the balloony-inner-projection thingies too. And the concert director (producer? I forget who) did pretty much a perfect job with the camera direction, never boring and always great shots at the right moment.

Great concert (minus the screaming “I Love You CHRRRRISSSS~~” girls)!!~ What I’d really like to see is them doing an acoustic concert though. Still, it was fun and their new stuff sounds more interesting… might drop by HMV to check out the album. Now I’m itching to get me tickets to Jason Mraz’s concert. He’s coming in 2 weeks time. Why didn’t I buy tickets!!!? Boohoo~

p.s. amazingly my camera decided to behave itself throughout the concert - once we were outside, it decided to go on strike again!
