Probably Martin Luther King, yeah. Plus I don't think Chris would let them stick in a reference to him like that. And he doesn't really fit in with them all.

Its like look at the price you pay for success... The same sword they knight you they gonna kill you with

I like the rap a lot now now, in terms of pacing and rhyme, I feel like it adds a lot to the song. But, I really find the '*****z/s' reference unsettling in any sort of song, let alone a Coldplay one.

Also, who is the Michael reference to? Surely not Jackson?

I'm not in any way convinced his paedophilia was a result of his success, but anyway if it IS Mr Jackson mentioned in the song I find it totally repugnant.
