Didn't your boyfriend get you one?:stunned:
Poor show, if you ask me!:P
I have a spare if you need one.;)
as we both have said, we didn't got one :(
why poor show? i really liked it most than the one i attended in Barcelona last year, really, may be is cause the show was longer. :uhoh:
Yes it was me, so nice to see you from the queue, and I met you on Thursday night, right? So nice you saw everyone else further up :)
Marvellous gig, and wonderful to see David's pics from across the way that included Ian, Jen, little busybee-jen-still-in-the-womb, and myself :P
yes we met on Thursday. :D
it was nice to see most of you all there, but i missed to meet some other coldplayers queuing :\
he took better pics than me, i think. :) i'll post some of mine later today.

Yeah we were supposed to queue, but then the 3girls got free tickets for fridays show so i watched all stuff. We didn't mix up with fridays queue since we were sittung around the letter K.
I went to the m & n queue around 00.30, met some coldplayers. But didnt dare talk to them until afternoon on saturday. I ended up at the front by the left camera, behind only one.
Thanks mc_square for talking to me :D

So what time did you guys start queuing? I could never queue for that long, you must of been really tired!!
Me and the girlfriend walked round wembley about 3 times on the friday night, im suprised you didnt wait outside the entrance/exit where Coldplay (or 1 of them) exited in a getaway car lol
I dunno, we started to queue during Jay-Z I think (though we were at the stadium earlier in the afternoon).
Maltkvist you're the one who slept next to us then I guess :D

What the hell is that ?
that was indeed a Hell.
was how the things were when people left the stadium and trying to get into Wembley Park station = to me it meant the reason why i got to my hostel at 2am in the morning.... no way to get to the station on time before those closed

Hey!
Yeah after everyone ran in, i tried my best to get to the front. People were really pushing!
Anyway, i ended up just a bit to the left of the left camera behind only one person. So i had great view of everything :)
think i've never had that much energy during a concert before! There's so much i could write, but i'm gonna wait until i get home.
But i really want to say: Fix You during the pouring rain.... Don't know if it was my tears streaming down my face..<3 it was so great!!!
And again, really nice to meet some of you people! Where did you end up?
/Henry
Pretty much directly in front of that camera, about two rows back. It was a great view and I was more than satisfied.;)

lol.... after I went to see a concert at Wembley before, I was stopped in front of some of the police horses. A drunk guy kept trying to pet the horse and it was annoyed, it tried to bite him

We were literally the last people up the steps before they stopped everyone going into the station (which I guess is what the pic is of?). Then my dad led us to the wrong platform, so we had to try and fight our way back through the tide of thousands going in the opposite direction to us to get back to the other platform!

As it happens, that's one thing I was pretty disappointed with yesterday. There was nothing particularly unique about any of Chris's comments. There was nothing that really made me smile, which wasn't the case in Duesseldorf, where he was on top form.
He also didn't appear to change the words to any of the songs, which was disappointing, as that's always very amusing too.:(
However, it's only a very minor criticism - you can't have everything.;)If they were filming a DVD any lyrics changes will probably be out of the question incase that was the footage that was needed to complete the song over two nights.

OK, everyone, here (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2025627&id=1083570023&l=e417dbfca2)are the best of my photos .
Videos are to come, but the bass levels were so loud that the sound got fucked in a lot of them. And I'm bellowing so loudly it's embarrassing, but they'll trickle in.
As for my story/review, I blogged it HERE (http://www.approximatelyinfinite.net/2009/09/nothing-could-be-better-and-nothing.html). I think I'll copy and paste it here under spoilers, since it's so long:
80,000 people and I got second row. I couldn't have asked for anything better, I don't think. I've spent a year stressing out about this gig: if I could go, if I would get somewhere were the guys would be bigger than ants, how it would all work out in the end logistically. And it all worked out beautifully, better than beautifully. About four hundred people have been asking for my Wembley story, so here it is in blog form. Before I even go into blogging about Norwich and UEA and my new life here, I just have to write about Wembley. It's going to be a long one.
So I got the train down from Norwich to London on Friday night, which actually went quite smoothly. As much as I think I'm going to like Norwich, I already miss London, so being back so soon was wonderful. After grabbing food, I met Mariana at the Arran House (home! Oh, how I've missed Gower Street), and our plan was to go up to the Stadium to see how bad the lines were for the next night's show. Almost the second we got out of Wembley Park Tube stop, we could hear strains of "Yellow" and crowd cheers, and we absolutely freaked out. Listening to a gig from the outside is severely underrated: hearing everything without seeing it was completely awesome, and we had a great view of the ending fireworks. Even just hearing the gig from the outside of the stadium got me so excited that I was suddenly willing to spend the night outside in queue, even though there wasn't a queue to speak of yet. Worried that once the gig was over that people inside would immediately get in line for the next night, I called Semy and told him to come up to spend the night outside. This turned out to be a bad move. Mariana and I made friends with the security guards, who thought we were nuts for thinking of spending the night outside and offered us a little extra help getting inside if we needed it. Semy got to Wembley just as the show was over and thousands of people were streaming out, but when the crowds cleared, very few people were left to wait outside like us, even our friends that were inside. At the last moment, the three of us decided to get back on the Tube and get a few hours of sleep at the Arran House before turning back around and taking the first Tube back up at 5:08 AM.
Of course, we barely slept. Even if we had, it would have only been three hours, and I think I got maybe an hour and a half of sleep before we woke up at 4 AM and attempted to get the first Tube from Euston Square back up to Wembley. This turned out to be a bit more challenging than we thought, and after finally figuring out that we needed to change to the Metropolitan Line at Baker Street because through-trains weren't running yet, we were back up to Wembley just as the sun was coming out. Strangely, there were already people in queue at our gate (H&J), some with tents that we hadn't seen the night before, but we still got to the front of it and everything was fine, despite the fact that it was freezing and it looked like rain. Attempting to sleep on a concrete ramp didn't go so well, and I was much too excited to eat more than a few Jaffa cakes.
If you count the hour and a half we waited the night before, we queued for a total of 15 hours, I believe, but it didn't really feel like it. People we knew and people we didn't know trickled into the various queues all day, with most of us yellow-shirted friends were there by 9AM at the latest, so it turned out to be great fun, though I wish we hadn't all been so split up at different gates: I wish I got a chance to really talk to a few more people. So, we waited and talked and visited with each other for hours on end. By about 2:30, the Stadium workers told us in queue H&J to "squish up to the front," which was a bad idea: a) it was too early, since the turnstiles didn't open til 4, b) people got all out of order, c) it was hot by this time, and being squished together without space to sit made it hotter, and d) it got everyone all excited for the free-for-all that was about to ensue much too early. I kept thinking I'd need to put my head in between my knees for the next hour and a half, and I definitely wasn't the only one.
At 3:45, they cut the tape at our queue, and though there was a Stadium worker walking backwards in front of us with her arms open so we didn't run, people were pushing like all get-out. We reached another line of tape facing the turnstiles and were stopped again while a man on the loudspeaker announced that the turnstiles were now open, and we all cheered. I figured that they would calmly cut the last ribbon of tape like they did a few minutes before at the last barrier and walk in front of us slowly again, so I wasn't that worried, and Darcy, Semy, Mariana and I had a firm grip on each other, and Mariana had a whole line of others linked to her other side. However...they just shouted "GO!!!!" and everyone pushed, ripping the tape to shreds by bursting through it. It was terrifying, like the running of the bulls. We all got separated, and someone stepped on Semy's coat that he was carrying and brought him down, and I thought he died. We had to scan our own tickets at the turnstiles, which was nerve-wracking, and then after the security check, everyone was bolting to the pitch, even though there were hundreds of stadium workers shouting "WALK, DON'T RUN, SLOW DOWN." I saw Semy emerging from the turnstiles a few seconds after me, and after being grateful that he was alive, we linked arms and...powerwalked to the pitch while getting shouted at for running. I almost freaked out when I saw how empty it was around the stage, and somehow we managed to get almost right up against the barrier at the center, between Guy and Chris's spots, at second row. I couldn't believe it, and could only hope that the others got the front as well. Darcy ran in on her own a few seconds after Semy and I staked out our spot, so I turned on the Loud Voice that the Brits so hate and screamed "DARCYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" as everyone turned to look at me and the world stopped and went silent and planes hung in the air, and we nabbed Darcy. After peering over heads, we saw a huge yellow blob on the opposite end of the stage, and we knew everyone else had made it to their spots.
Wembley is massive. It turns out that it's only the 22nd largest stadium in the world, but the second largest in Europe with a 90,000 seating capacity. I could barely even sense how large it was by being in the very front against the stage, but it's quite literally breathtakingly huge. I think there were something like 60,000 people standing on the pitch alone, and it blew my mind to be at the very front of that many people.
And so the wait began again, and this one was more painful, a) because we were packed in like sardines, b) because you can only get more excited with every minute that passes, and c) my feet were half on and half off the step up to the barrier. Being in the front has other advantages besides just being a few feet away from the band: they also pass you endless glasses of water, which were much appreciated. You're also allowed to bring in food, so when I felt like I was going to pass out, I could happily eat my granola bars without having to worry about buying a £6 hot dog and losing my primo spot.
About 45 minutes after we came in, White Lies came on. They were fabulous, like a combination of the Killers and the Bravery and Kings of Leon. The drummer looked about 12 years old, and the lead singer about 17, but I thought they were great despite the fact that I couldn't breathe because their bass was that intense. It didn't feel like an opening act, or even really a concert: it felt like a huge, rocking party in celebration of the end of the tour, even though it was still sunny and daylight out. I don't know if I've ever enjoyed an opener that much. They're coming to UEA in November, and I'm definitely going.
Another wait for about 30 minutes before Girls Aloud came on. Ugh, they're the only part of the show I would have changed. I have no idea why Chris thought they would be a good opener for a Coldplay show: really, I just find bands like that embarrassing, not to mention nauseating, and I don't think very many people really enjoyed them besides the 17-year-old boys in the only row in front of me and the mega Girls Aloud fans that queued with us. Girls Aloud treated their set like it was their own headlining show and everyone had come out to see them, when really about 10 people out of 80,000 cared.
Darkness fell between Girls Aloud and Jay-Z, with an ominous fog floating in the ceiling. Even though I've never been a hip-hop fan whatsoever, I was actually a bit excited to see Jay-Z. Despite not really enjoying the music, I have a lot of respect for Jay-Z, and it's always cool to see someone mega-famous in concert. It turns out I was completely blown away by his set, both because I loved it and because the bass was turned up so much I thought I'd literally be blown away. Jay is a fantastic showman, regardless of music genre, as well as a great businessman, and an all-around adorable guy. The group of five teenage boys in front of me were going absolutely crazy for him, knowing every single word, and he came up and sang to them quite a bit, loving their reaction. At the very end of his set, Jay went around and thanked basically every single person in the front row individually, taking about 5 minutes total to say something specific about each person or group that was going crazy for him, including our yellow-shirted posse on the other side of the stage, the Jay-Z fangirl front and center, and the guys in front of me. I thought thanking people individually and taking that much time to do it was incredible.
And then it was time to wait for Coldplay. I was basically having a heart attack, as was the entire crowd, and I think my brain exploded when "the Blue Danube" came on. However, literally 3 minutes before Coldplay came onstage, the heavens opened and it started to pour directly on us through the open roof. It started out as a drizzle, but it turned into pissing rain the second the first notes of "Life in Technicolor" began. I don't know how it's possible for it to rain at the drop of a hat with no warning in this country, but it does. Usually I avoid the rain so my hair doesn't completely bug out, but even though I put on my raincoat, it was pretty much useless to avoid getting wet, and I don't really care if I end up on the DVD with an afro. The rain actually enhanced the party atmosphere, making it feel more like a joyous celebration rather than just the 159th concert on the tour. The rain stopped after a few songs anyway, which was good, since I was worried about making my camera waterlogged (Semy's didn't fare so well), but besides making for crap pictures and videos and despite my glasses being rainsplattered, I almost wanted it to keep raining: it made it even better.
I have never heard a sound like that crowd made. Sometimes it was hard to hear Chris sing just because there were 80,000+ people singing the same words and drowning him out despite amplification. I was floored at the sound of the Viva chant done by that many people, and so were the band, by the looks of them. They kept looking at each other and smiling, I think in astonishment, and Guy kept looking down at us in the front and smiling, and a Guy smile isn't always easy to get. I was also blown away by the sound: I've never been to a louder concert. The bass was turned up a bit too much if you ask me. I can't hear bass very well due to my impaired hearing, but I can sure as hell feel it, and my whole body was vibrating at some points. The extreme bass levels also made my videos a bit crap: usually the sound quality from that camera is amazingly good, but I think the bass waves blew out the mic. You can also hear me bellowing out the words, as usual, even though I was holding the camera many feet above my head. Damn having a loud voice.
The entire thing is both a blur and a memory with fine details in my head: it's certainly the best gig I've ever been to in my life for thousands of reasons (though I still think they were at the top of their musical game in Hartford this summer, and that was the best mood I've ever seen Chris in). I'll never forget being at the front of the biggest and most memorable gig Coldplay have played thus far, and I'll never forget the friends I made and the people I met in line while waiting. I've said it at least twice before now, but this show was more than just a concert: it was like a four-act celebration. It felt more like a party than a concert, and at this show, we were more than just spectators: we made the experience. I miss them already.
The next day, I was only able to make the meet-up in Russell Square for about 15 minutes, even though I would have given anything to stay. Then I took the Tube to Liverpool St. Station, like it said to do on my ticket, but none of the trains listed on the board said Ingatestone, where I had to transfer. Turns out, I had to go all the way to fricking NEWBURY PARK on the Tube to catch a BUS to Ingatestone, and then take the train to Norwich from there. Thanks for telling me that, snarky-lady-at-Euston-who-sold-me-my-tickets. I nearly missed the bus due to the ride from Liverpool St. to Newbury Park being like 45 minutes on the Tube. Never take the train from London to Norwich on Sundays.
I've tried to put into words why I did this crazy thing, why I love this band so much, and why they mean so much to me, but I don't think I can. It's one of those gut things where you just know that something is made for you, and you love everything about what they do: the music, the fanbase, the show, the members, the charities, the artwork, everything. I wanted this post to be more coherent and meaningful, but I've never been able to elegantly write down exactly how much this band means to me. Unlike lots of other fans, I don't have a dark past that a Coldplay song or album got me out of, nor was I there from the start when they released their first two albums: I kind of found them by accident and weird coincidences, but they've honestly changed my life in countless ways, too many to list here.
I watched the special on ITV last night about Coldplay, and I hate to sound like one of those really pathetic sobbing stalker fangirls, but I was basically crying the entire show. It was the best interview they've ever done, and the best documentary on them out there. And today, I was in Borders and "Death and All His Friends/the Escapist" came on over the sound system, and I nearly burst into tears in the store. I don't usually cry at that sort of thing, but after the best weekend of my life thanks to them and the subtle beauty of the song and being exhausted, I almost couldn't help it. I know I'm a nutter and I know I'm obsessed, but this band makes me happy almost beyond anything else, and I'll stop at nothing to see them every chance I get. We have no idea what the story is with them now: I'm already in mourning over the dead period with no news from them for a while. Coldplay.com changed its layout immediately after Wembley, and it looks like an engraved wedding invitation, and it asks everyone to RSVP at RSVP@coldplay.com (RSVP@coldplay.com). No one knows what we're RSVP-ing to, but I sure as hell am "going," whatever it is.
I wish I could have written that all out better, but I'm still too excited to put my deeper emotions about it in words. I also thought that meeting everyone was amazing: I wish we could do that all the time. There's something about being with people that you don't have to explain your obsession to, or tone down your Coldplay nerdiness for...my only wish is that I had more of a chance to talk to some of you: I hated that we were spread out over so many queues. I also wish I could have gone to the pre- and post-meet-ups...I'm seriously kicking myself for not being able to go, even though it's no one's fault.
Anyway, I miss Coldplay and I miss you all. Here's to hoping we can all do it again sometime in the not-so-distant future .

Something else I forgot: as we were walking out, still in the stadium, everyone in that hallway started doing the Viva chant. I know that happens after like every Coldplay gig I've been to in the past two years, but this was somehow different: the walls were shaking with how loud everyone was just in the hallways. I wanted to cry, it was so awesome.
Thanks about the review, everyone :nice:. I think it's terrible, but someday when I've calmed down about it, hopefully I can write it up more eloquently :D.

Oh i wasnt stalking them me and my girlfriend were just bored and were sat down and then all of a sudden there was a big block off people crossing the road and all the traffic was stopped then a mercedes came out the stadium and was gone within seconds, but only looked like it had 1 band member in it must of been Chris?
I don't think so, because the band stayed in the stadium for their afterparty.

Well I dunno what happened exactly (let's just blame Cooky for fun cause she made me drop my red rose - for Miller - and my yellow glow stick) but I was definitely planning on filming the whole song when my camera suddenly FLEW toward the stage, I unfortunately spent the rest of the song trying to get it back and checking if the memory card was still in. Once I noticed everything was fine I yelled ''wohohoooooo hohooooo'' with everybody and started to jump again :D
OMG I'm soo soo sorry if it was because of me!!!! I don't really remember it(and NO I WAS NOT DRINKING, it's all too much for my brain, this whole week...) I'm so sorry about your rose:(, but come on, if it werent' for me and my loud screaming Milllllerrrrrr would've never heard you.
:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: Thats funny... Blame Cooky for everything... :P
Hey, shuddup!! :whip: Remember, the Bossman gave me power, and I'm not afraid to use it!:whip::whip::lol:
Aww Chelsea, I'm sorry but I can't read the review right now, it's hurting me just to look through my pics to upload:bigcry: It's like the wound is just too fresh (I know I sound over-dramatic, but damn it this was one hell of an emotional week). I'm so so so glad we got to see each other even for a few minutes. That's 2gigs together :D Next tour, we'll do it again
Didn't your boyfriend get you one?:stunned:
Poor show, if you ask me!:P
I have a spare if you need one.;)
I didn't see any on the way out either, and had to get to the buses :(

I'm such a bad Coldplayer, still no review from me. The words just aren't coming out yet. So you'll have to make do with some photos for now.
My view of the stage (only 2.5 blocks along, so what it was like from the back I'm not sure. They were tiny from where I was :o )

Ewwwwwww more BO peeps.
I had a bus trip to the Bakery this morning to just drive by it. Then was really sad so I took the boat down to Greenwich and spent the day there in the sunshine. Came back the the bloody puppets took my pic getting off the boat at Westminster pier! Fucking hell, the stalker becomes the stalked. :stunned:

Did you do what other tourists do and stand with one leg in the west and one leg in the east over the line (in Greenwich)?

I had a brilliant first ever gig, and the whole experience was one I'll never forget. Yes, my feet, legs, back and even my jaw were in extreme pain, but that was never going to ruin a perfect evening, even I predicted and welcomed the heavy rain :D Sadly we had to leave our spot to the left of the stage jetty thingy near the corner (looking at it) just before LiJ, and I missed the butterfly shower  We then left the stadium for our last train home just after LiJ and heard Death and All his Friends while walking around to Wembley Way. I was really sad we had to leave early but my friends weren't prepared to sleep on the platform at Charing Cross, whereas I was pretty much prepared to :p Hopefully I'll go again on the next tour, can't wait :)

Hi! I'm just back from London! It was a great trip! Wembley is enourmous, the gig was the same Viva tour gig, buy I really enjoyed it! It was a pleausure and a nice surprise to meet Ian and the other tow coldplayers (whose name I forgotted! so sorry!!!).
... my friends, the crowns, the glowsticks, the really kind girls that kept my jacket safe all long the show (thanks so much!), the rain, the C stage, the music!!! ... It was a really great experience!
I'm so sorry for my english ... I can't write a great review and I feel a little bit weird ... but, in practice, I didn't see nothing new in this concert exept the big - big english venue, a really energic chris, a perfec drummer - band coordinator Will and an amazing performance of "trouble " - I was really happy to listen to it so close to the band!
I'll post my pictures as soon as possible! :D

OMG IT WAS AWESOME!
Loved White Lies and Girls Aloud.
Jay-Z was just awesome, I'd never have seen him otherwise. Seriously good show
Coldplay - well, I saw them in Sheffield last year and this was SO much better! Hearing The Scientist properly and Life in Technicolor ii and Glass of Water was SUCH a pleasure!
One problem though - Can anyone tell me what the song was which everyone was singing along to before Coldplay came on? It sounded a *bit* like Oasis and I think it had the words "Something to believe in"... Any help?!

Finally wrote a 'review'/account of what happened in my weekend :D
I hardly took any photos throughout the gigs, because my camera is not that great, plus I wanted to just watch the gig
(sorry, it's very long and probably has unnecessary bits LOL)
Thursday:
I got the train to London and wandered around for a bit because I was too early for Trafalgar Square! Then I saw Mich coming over to me, and the others (Mel, Angie, Lori and Min) sitting on the steps opposite the fountains :) Great to meet everyone (Mich and Lori again)! Then we went over to the fountain when we saw Ian and a few others like Anna :D It was nice to see everyone. We went over to the place where the 'human statues' were on the plinth and watching a lady dressed as a penguin throwing chocolates inside balloons to everyone. More people arrived and it was great! I won't list all the names because I can't remember, but it was really fun  We took lots of pics, talked, tried to get on the camera that was watching the statue plinth and it's surroundings, and then we all set off for the tube station.
It was funny with so many Coldplayers in one tube carriage! :D We all got off at Camden town and boarded the escalator comprised of mostly only Coldplayers. Some people went in different directions, but mostly people walked towards the Dublin Castle pub, where Coldplay played their first gig under the name Coldplay  It was a really lovely pub too...... with so much cool history. The other punters probably wondered what was going on when so many of us came in, but we soon took over the back area and many tables next to the room where the gigs took place. :) It was great getting to know everyone, some people were drinking more than others :laugh2: Lots of laughs and photographs too. After a while, me Mich Mel Min and Chris left the pub to go home, going past the Jay-Z Roundhouse gig on the way. My friend Steph was going to the gig, so I arranged to try and meet her before she went in. So we hung around a back street for a while. Some dudes climbed over a fence into the carpark/back of the venue LOL.... we saw them being escorted out of the gates a bit later. People started leaving the gig in cars when we were thinking of going home..... then we saw Chris walk out! He talked to us very quickly and took some pics and shook our hands :nice: awesome!!!! We told him we'd see him at Wembley  I went back with the others to the flat that they very kindly allowed me to stay over in :)
Friday:
The next day, we were up early and on the tube to Wembley :D Everyone loved it when the Archway (slowly) came into view  We walked over and assessed all the queues :) People already there! Including some people that were queueing for the next day's gig :uhoh: Well, the others had the fiasco of not knowing where their tickets were :( So I waited in the H&J queue with Mich while the others spread around the other exits in preparation for when they picked up their tickets. We met some nice people that we had met at the Warchild gig again. Queuing was quite pleasant, with a windy but fairly sunny spell. The others got their tickets and luckily they were in H&J too! :nice: The queueing got more and more stressful, then when were let through to near the door, people ran past us  The doors were opened, we ran in, and discovered that our queue had not been let in at the same time as the other queues. RUBBISH!!!!! We were annoyed, but we managed to be around 4 people from the front still. Annoying, since we waited longer than some people I saw push past in the queue.
View from H&J queue: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/w1.jpg
White Lies were good!! Good voice but only about 3 songs that made me sing along. Still happy I saw them. Girls Aloud were what I expected them to be..... good for young teenagers and perving blokes. Was funny how they kept waving to everyone! and giving too many shoutouts to their fans (erm, hello? this is not your gig!) Finally when Jay-Z came on, it was absolutely amazing for me! YouTube - Dirt off your Shoulder - Jay-Z at Wembley stadium supporting Coldplay I love his songs and the show he put on was perfect. The girl singing with him was exceptional in the 'Empire State of Mind', amazing. I loved everything! Poor Angie had to put up with some guy who smelt like fish :( was awful and Mich and Mel had some incredibly annoying people behind them too :\
Next..... a little wait. And COLDPLAAAAAAAAAAY! :D
Great show as usual. I didn't hope for any setlist changes, and was right.... but it was amazing nonetheless. Highlights for me were Yellow (not really the Simon Cowell bit though), hearing Glass of Water for the first time YouTube - Glass of Water by Coldplay, at Wembley Stadium 18/09/09 , GPASUYF (although I wish they played the normal one too :p ), Trouble (when it echoed everywhere, beautiful) and everything really. Just being there in the stadium with them.... incredible. The mobile phone mexican wave looked so pretty and huge. Simon Pegg's harmonica solo was one of the funniest things I ever heard
It felt strange knowing that this wasn't our last chance to see the boys though!! :p
Great stuff.
Met Coldplayers handing out cd's after :D
Saturday:
We didn' t know what time to go and queue, had envisaged getting up a bit earlier but everyone was so tired. We got to the queues around 8am. I was again in H&J :) I was a bit worried about the same people working the gate and letting me in late again, but there was nothing I could do about it. Sadly, Mich, Mel, Angie and Lori were in the F&G queue. :\ It was so nice to meet Mari, Chelsea, Semy, Johanna, Linda and Darcy though :) Also to have Ian and Jenjie with us too. Jen, you were brave to stay on that chair at the front for as long as you did! I got a bit fed up when everyone moved up, but I was second from the front of the H&J queue. When they let us in, I made sure this time that I wasnt ran past :smug: Me and Mari got to the front of the next holding area really, with the others very close behind. I can't believe that we had to run underneath the ribbon, quite dangerous really!!! but hey. Mari was first through the turnstile, I followed....we ran in and YES. The front row was empty.   It was perfect. When I got to the barrier, Mich and Chris were next to me :D We were on Jonny's side. With Coldplayers ALL around and on front row. Making for the best gig ever! Everyone was so hyped.
Crowd behind us: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/w4.jpg
White Lies were great again....they hold their songs well in such a huge place. Girls Aloud were the same again - pretty much annoying. The previously-Ginger one is very scary :( I sung along to a few songs like 'Call the Shots' but they played too many other crap ones, and gave too many shoutouts to their fans (erm, hello? this is not your gig!)
Jay-Z was exceptional from where I was standing in the front row. Him and his buddy Memphis were ALWAYS on the ledge in front of the stage, so just that extra bit closer to us. I love how he interacts with the crowd. Plus yellow shirts Mich and Chris got a shoutout  I'm SO GLAD he was supporting both days, I loved his performances SO MUCH!!! (apart from the strobe lighting  )
Part of Mich and Angie at the front.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/w7.jpg
Some of us at the front
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/w8.jpg I look too tired
Ok...so now we'd finally arrived at show time!!! WOOOOOO! It was really emotional seeing the map zoom down until it said Wembley. Finally after so long after buying the tickets, we were all there, having the best Coldplay concert ever. The rain was absolutely crazy. Kinda cool though. I hope that some people got good shots of the lights and the rain maybe! The guys were having so much fun... Jonny was giving it everything and they were all joking, laughing, loving it. PERFECTION!
Unfortunately the person doing filming for the concerts was in front of Jonny for me :\ I could see his face though :nice: Only got this one of Chris.... then I put away the camera. I really need to get a new better point and shoot!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/w9.jpg
I've got over the fact that they weren't going to play any older/different stuff, and just thouroughly enjoyed the set. Maybe because it was the last of the tour
My favourites were pretty much everything.... just soaking up the last lot of Coldplay goodness. :\ Lost + was awesome.
I found it hilarious when our 'local' security guard, a youngish guy, tried to look all tough when the butterflies were falling on him, then he gave up and laughed about it
The butterflies falling was an even more beautiful moment because of where we were.
I took a video of The Scientist, because it sounded lovely.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jhsluc8DwrY
I guess my real favourite of the night was Politik, that 'give me love over, love over.....' bit and knowing it was the last time I'd hear it for a while  but :nice:
Soon it was nearly the end, and I agree with many others that the hug in the back right corner of the stage said it all. I love these guys!
Afterwards everyone met and had photos :) Soon it was time to head off to get our stuff. We waited for a little bit and met a few people ;)
and take a ride in one of the most stupid taxi drivers car ever. Driving us through the busiest streets of London on a Saturday night and then whilst trying to perform a U-turn in a petrol station, getting stuck behind two cars filling up at the pumps. USELESS!
Everyone was exhausted and sad :(
The next day I couldnt make the meetup because I was meeting my friend Steph and Angie at Waterloo, we had a nice reminisce and chat :)
Overall, this was one of the greatest 4 days ever! Great times, meeting great people who have the same love for Coldplay.
and thank you VERY much to Angie, Mel, Mich, Lori and Min for letting me stay at their place with them. I had a fun time with you guys :nice:
One last photo of Wembley (after-gig) :(

Yeah that's right I didn't even try to get my DSLR in 'cause I knew I wasn't going to take many pics cause I wanted to focus on the gig 100% so I took only few pictures. And the camera I took in isn't so good but those pics are the best I could get with it. :D

Yeah.... it is rather disappointing that they didn't change anything. Especially when earlier in the year, they said they'd been practicing older songs. :(
but hey..... the shows were still amazing, once you were there, you couldn't think about the non-changing setlist.

I think I'd given up about being mad about it (I was before). Maybe next tour they will play older stuff (har har :( ). I will be so jealous if they go to Latin America and play old stuff (like they did before!) :p

Hello Coldplayers!
Excuse me being a bit late to post my thoughts on the gig... it took me two days for the reality to sink in that I was even there, the whole thing was like a really surreal dream!! Sorry if this is a bit long... I got a little carried away!
Sat night was my 2nd Coldplay gig ever (having seen them in Dec last year on the UK leg of the Viva Tour) and I have to say out of the two this was definitely the best. It was just incredible... I feel so lucky to have been there on the last gig of the Viva Era. It was the first time I've gone to Wembley, and I have to say, when I first got their and walked down the steps I was overwhelmed by the enormity of it. It really is massive. Me and my family had general admission tickets and we ended up settling for about the fifth row of Unreserved Level 1 seating. Although I had hoped to get a good position near the main stage or the b-stage but although we were within the first 100 people to get through the J gate it was really too late already so me and my brother gave up. I still had a great view and to be honest you couldn't feel much nearer to the stage if you were in seats.
The atmosphere in the stadium was absolutely amazing.. the boys couldn't have asked for more of a heroes welcome. It was like everyone was there to show their appreciation for them, to celebrate the end of the tour. :) The response from the crowd was just fantastic... I couldn't believe how many people seemed to be singing along to most of the songs, it was every single person was singing their heart out along with you. It was such a feeling. On some of their most well known tracks like Viva La Vida and Trouble I could hardly hear Chris through all the voices.. including mine :D :nice: As we were very near to the right hand screen I could see everything very clearly and I saw the large group of front row Coldplayers on the screen quite a few times.. so very lucky all of you! ;) Jay-Z worked the crowd up to fever pitch by the end of his set.. I was actually suprised at how positive a response he got from the crowd, everyone was bopping and rocking and throwing their diamonds in the air! Head banging even during 99 problems... such a great moment :laugh3: I enjoyed his set so much, more than I thought I would actually. Call me a convert. :D By the time the Blue Danube came on I was so excited. When it started to rain I was worried that there would be a delay, or worse if it didn't stop that Chris wouldn't be able to come out on the walkways, the roadies where clearing so much water! I will never forget watching the crowd getting soaked to the skin while Glasses of Water played.... it was amazinggg. I thought the weather really added to the atmosphere, I wished I had been in the pit with everyone, although I was kind of glad my camera couldn't get wet! :stunned:
The whole thing is kind of a complete blur to me, but some things I can remember that I really loved:
1.Billie Jean on the b-stage, sounded fantastic, this song really suits Chris's voice, his MJ-esque added sound effects had be giggling and it was so great hearing the whole stadium singing along... a fitting tribute to Michael Jackson that I thought he would have been very proud of.
2. Lost! with Jay-Z, really hoped he'd come on, loved the man hug at the end of it. :D
3.Chris trying to put a Viva crown on Guy's head and it slipping off and them both giggling  Hehe, was an adorable moment! Couldn't help giggling myself at it, guess I'm a ChrisBerry girl afterall! :P
4. Chris getting everyone to do the Mexican wave, what a spectacle, never done one before and it was so cool to watch.
5. The Hardest Part, thought Chris's voice sounded especially good (no mean feat considering how much it's been used this last year!), loved the more tender emotional way he sung it, was really from the heart. It was really funny how he forgot the words/lost his place and then made up the lyrics... love him so much. Classic Chris.
6. Jay-Z talking to people in the crowd, especially when he pointed out some of the Coldplayers banners! :D I thought he was really quite humble for someone with such a well-known ego, he even said thankyou to the crowd :shocked2: :laugh3:
7. When Chris collapsed on the left hand walkway just before he sung Lost!, just knew he was gonna do one of his ultra gymnastic flip up moves which he did just as the drum beat to Lost! started. Feeling of euphoria in the crowd at that moment was soooo good. Everyone had their fists pumping with Chris to "I just got loooost..!" :D
8. The fireworks coming over the stadium roof during Fix You. Gaaaah.
9. One of the roadies (?) break dancing on the walkway before Jay-Z! He was so entertaining and actually quite good.. everyone gave him a massive applause and laughed.
10. Everyone singing the "Ooo-oh-oh-oh-ah-oh" bit of VLV during the interval play of White Duke remix. And coming out of the stadium with everyone singing it!
A few minor things I was disappointed about was the fact that they didn't change the setlist at all.. I was hoping they'd mix things up a bit, perhaps play a few of the older songs they haven't on this tour. But oh well. At least they played Trouble. Also, I thought the base was definitely too strong some of the time. It seemed to over power everything else and at times I thought it drowned Chris out a long with the crowd noise. That's the big negative about a Stadium gig like Wembley, it's almost impossible to get the sound pitch perfect with such a large audience to cover. Also, I was suprised that Chris didn't say any other words after the encore. I mean, to signal the end of this incredibly long tour and to the fans?? He just said the quick thankyou and goodnight. Hmm. :\ But I think perhaps he was overcome by the moment, I think they all were.. and they whent straight to each other and Phil to share it. That hug was so sweet, made me want to cry I felt so emotional! I loved that beforehand Will, Johnny and Guy all came to each corner side of the stage and looked down at everyone and bowed. All three of them got such a fantastic applause, and they all looked so happy! I think Guy got the most screams and shouts out of all of them.. hehe. ;)
I just didn't want it to end, and I don't think anyone else did either.. I wanted to thank them in person for the best night of my life, because it really was. Afterwards my cheeks hurt from smiling and grinning so much, my throat hurt from singing at the top of my lungs, my feet hurt from standing and dancing around like a maniac and my head hurt from the sheer volume of the noise... but I didn't care one bit, because the feeling this band give me, the feeling you get listening to their music and singing along to these songs that each have your own memories and stories and emotions attached to them with so many other people that share the love for them with you.. it's indescribable. I loved every minute of it and I will never forget the experience. It couldn't have been a better show for the closure of the Viva Era. :nice: And now I feel like crying again, darn it! *happy tears*

Hi people from all over the world! It was a long trip from Orlando to LOndon...I felt like a "flying sardine in a can"... who can actually sleep in that plane? I watched 3 movies and a concert on the flight back, since I knew sleep was not going to happen.
The stadium was overwhelmingly hugeeeee!!!!! On Friday, I got up to the front right behind Coldpatrix and was there for a total of 15minutes! It became so packed in such a short time... then I thought about bathroom breaks and decided to find a seat. I spotted a row of yellow shirts... they really stood out in the crowd... glad we decided on that color! So I sat with Ian, Sue and Cookie Monster. It was a great night although I could not hear out of my right ear for a while after Cookie's crazy screaming (LOL)... she was alot of fun! Saturday I sat in the first row in 125 ... great location! It was strange how the rain started at the very beginning of concert and during Glass of Water (Heheh). Then stopped! So many wet people! It just seemed to fit into the concert order. Yellow balloons, Mexican wave, Butterfly confetti, and Fireworks! What more could you ask for? Well, maybe Chris and guys running right in front of your face...YES! He acknowledged our US Love Coldplay banner with a wave and thumbs up... twice! Gotta Love Him!
The whole two nights at Wembley was a surreal experience... I am just now absorbing the whole thing! Nice to meet all the Coldplaying.com people in the queues C and D Friday and M and N Saturday. Didn't get to the meetups although I very much wanted to... the pics looked like alot of fun at the Pub and Park. What an awesome bunch of pics you have put on here!
Much love to all of you for making this a truly remarkable and unforgettable once in a lifetime experience!!!! London is beautiful, Wembley is beautiful and Coldplaying.com People are beautiful! Thanks! Let's Do It Again Sometime!   :)

The inevitable dehydration takes care of the former, and cups of water were being handed out to people in the front few rows at least to help quench the thirst.
I also had my "emergency" Capri Suns with me, of course. They came in very handy indeed, as always.:D

Before you enter, you can get out of queue anytime to go to the toilets and/or food stand (bless Wembley infrastructures for the toilets near by!!!!)
But inside, if you have a good spot, it's risky to get out.....But if you haven't drink litters of beer, you can manage to not go to the bathroom... ;) And bring some cake/candies to have your sugar amount ^^
Oh, id be fucked then, i tend to drink alot of beer at concerts

:stunned: OMG but you were probably not far from me???!!!! Me and my friend were just before the butterlfy blower! There were two indian girls just behind us.
I think you were right next to us... if you're the ones that my girlfriend talked about the piano solo before the concert?
Just too funny :laugh3:... out of 70,000 people!

Hiiii everybody!!!
I managed to look through at least some of the posts in this thread... so I'll start with that!
[...]down to the pitch standing where the secret and illicit ciggie-smoking took place :PHi Pete!!!
Your post made me smile sooo much, especially this ciggie-smoking part!
It was the same on Friday. I was so dyyyyying to smoke a cigartette! When you're not in the front, i.e. not distracted by something else it's just the worst.
On Friday I was walking around a lot before the concert and near C-stage I saw two people smoking and so I went up to those and joined them :D
And the funny thing was that all of a sudden more and more people came towards us to smoke together
Wasn't that good an idea as we were CLEARLY visible for the event security - it was one huge smoke cloud above us!
Was funny though to talk to all these people!
[...]We exchanged tickets with Anna and Perrine (thanks again).
http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs247.snc1/9421_1118577252536_1470174915_30302886_3226448_n.j pgSalut!
We all had advantages with that ticket swap, so huge thanks to you as well!!!
I love that GOW picture!!! Thanks a lot, those animations were so awesome.
MILLER MARRY MEEEEI  you!!!
The funniest thing was the Australian girl right behind me who said "Could someone please get that guy down here???" while you were screaming!
I don't think you got any of that as you were busy screaming. :P
The whole "I give you 20 quid if you throw that apple to the back" conversation between the people behind me was soooooo hilarious!
So happy we had nice people around us!
Here are 3 vids of mine for people who were with me :)
Jay-Z
YouTube - Viva Wembley #01 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP908_VvZDY)
Blue Danube + LiT (until I accidentally threw my camera on stage...)
YouTube - Viva Wembley #02 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzlDIyD8Ewo)
Lovers
YouTube - Viva Wembley #03 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8zEB38HTHk)Damn you, you made me cry!!! I stopped the BlueDanube right before LiT starts 'cause I don;'t think I can handle it yet. Thanks so much for making those vids, I didn't even realize you were doing it, you captured some great moments!!!:nice:I can't remember you taking videos as well, Camille!!!! :stunned:
But funny to see us (and have the possibility to see how silly I looked with my scarf wrapped around my head!)
My raincoat wasn't an option - the sound is so different when you wear a hood!
EVERYTHING was wet after a few seconds but it was just adding to the atmosphere! :)
And sorry Noelia for my screaming, I think your "You have a strong voice" comment wasn't really a compliment
check this out.....
YouTube - Coldplay - In My Place - Live at Wembley 19/09/09 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBBd3qjlMGM)
Give me goosebumps to see that again....Salut!!!
So good that we saw each other, it was short but sooooooo cool that we managed to meet!
I showed that IMP video to my mother, she was speechless... but so was I.
You don't really realise just HOW MANY people are behind you.
I was standing at the C-stage on Friday and even from there it didn't look like that many people!
my tiny clip of in my place:
YouTube - Coldplay - In My Place - Wembley Stadium, London - 9/19/09 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy1OhSR1ByY)
i was afraid to keep my camera out for too long in the rain, but i just HAD to get some from IMP. the feeling in the front was euphoric, and the rain just made it better:heart:Hi Darcy!
It was so great to see you on Sunday!
People kept telling me on Saturday that they saw you... and I didn't!
I love your video! Thanks!
Everyone else I didn't quote: Thanks for all the pics and videos, I didn't take any!!!
I saw Perrine taking loads though so I don't regret at all to have enjoyed the concert from beginning to end without worrying about focus, zoom et al.
What made this day special wasn't the concert itself I'd say, it was meeting people I only knew from their posts, melting in the sun, taking naps, standing with the people I wanted to see the concert with and countless other tiny bits that I'm too lazy to type out :P
Here are some pics:

I enjoyed them sooooooo much!!!
It was great on Friday already, but they were even better on Saturday!
The fact that I had heard their songs the night before already just added to it.
"You've got blood on your haaaaaaaaands, and I know it's miiiiine, I just need more tiiiiime"
"LET'S GROW OLD TOGETHER..... AND DIE THE SAME TIME!!!"
"Farewell to the Faiiiiirgrounnnnnd"
I bought their CD on Sunday and listened to it sooo much already. Thanks Coldplay for choosing them as opening band!
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1580.jpg
I love this pic!!!
Kimmi you're the best!!
Was so much fun to stand next to you!!!!!!
And I can't thank that crazy Girls Aloud fan enough for agreeing to swap places with me so I could stand with Kimmi, Carla, Chavi, Camille, Perrine and Noelia of course!!
It was YOU who made that night perfect.
As bad as Girls Aloud were - we had our fun during their set!
We made the same moves than they did on stage (Ok, maybe even a bit more exaggerated :D), tried to pretend for about 30 seconds to be really into it and then gave up etc.
One of their songs is really catchy though and if your mind plays tricks on you it's stuck in your head for hours!
I felt so bad for them... there were many fans on Friday but apart from crazy-girl-who-swapped-places-with-me I couldn't see one near us on Saturday!
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1582.jpg
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1586.jpg
I actually like that pic, the woman is fascinating :P
She belongs in a musical theatre production and not in that silly girl band IMO.
She has a great voice.
Even their microphones were hilarious!
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1588.jpg
I only took that pic because it was funny to see that her dress was too tight
Frank didn't mind... obviously :laugh4:

Crazy fan amongst bored people:
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1593.jpg
After that we could see proof that the roadies were in a great mood as well:
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1598.jpg
Next: Jay-Z!!!!
If someone would have told me that I'd enjoy this so much I would have called that person crazy.
BUT I DID!
He was great on Friday and he was awesome on Saturday!
BOUNCE!
I love "Empire State Of Mind" and I'll always think of you, Noelia and Steph, when I listen to it!!!

http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1614.jpg
He's so good live!
Frank, I hope you weren't just joking and we'll go to one of his gigs together in the future!
Ok, this is where I stopped taking pics... Coldplay were next!!
For a few seconds I thought it would be just light rain... wow, it wasn't!!
We were all soaked even before they came on stage.
But like I said above (and I didn't intend to write a long review but obviously this is what it turned into) it just added to the amazing atmosphere.
No way we are going to move and protect ourselves from the rain when the boys come, we'll stay here and sing with you!
I love the bass... it just makes me happy.
Glass of Water was a highlight for me as always and I was soooo happy that the crowd was so into it.
Hearing all those people sing to the songs we all love so much was breathtaking.
It's impossible to find the right words.
I am one of those persons who don't easily cry. Or just don't...
But I don't know what happened during THP... I cried.
Combination of personal experiences, lack of sleep, awesome people around me and... whatever, it happened.
Next was VIVA however!
This was the only time that I experienced pushing at a CP concert. There was one wave of people pushing from behind but luckily it was just this one and then afterwards everything was back to normal.
I never seem to remember much from Lost! (Lost+ in this case)
It was great though.
I have these "screencaps" in my mind though!
And I remember that there was one guy behind me who knew EVERY word Jay-Z was saying!
When the drumstick flew to our little awesome group we all kind of formed a funnel, leaning back to increase the area where it can land!
Noelia, I'm so happy for you that you got it!!!!!
What else?
Oh right, I can't mention often enough just how awesome it is to be with coldplayers - you are the best people!!!
I could go to the front row during The Scientist until the end of the concert to hold up my banner!!!
Thank you so much, ladies!
Chris even said thank you, so he saw it!
LIT ii is one of my many favourites, actually I think it comes second after all-time-favourite IMP and it was so great to hear this song again, my face was just one big smile.
Again, words cannot describe it.
After the concert I took some pics again :)
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1620.jpg
You can't really see it, but everything was wet!
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1623.jpg
Blurry, but I love it!
http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg446/SueDeNimes/LndnWmbly/IMG_1628.jpg
Packages of LRLRL CDs... so at least at our gate there were enough!
I took a video while walking outside, a last look at the stadium, then walking outside to gate N were some of us have already arrived.
It's a great memory...
All those plans about going to a pub together after the concert were cancelled... all you wanted after the gig was a shower and dry clothes!!
Ok, so in the end this turned into a long post... I'm sorry!
I still didn't mention all those tiny nice moments that happened during the day.
Joe, I'll write about you in the Friday thread, this is just to warn you
Coldplay fans are one big family.
I love it.
(and now I'll post it before I start thinking about writing more or changing sentences :uhoh:)

Here's an attempt at writing a list of ''highlights'' (dunno why I can't really write a review this time, I guess it'd be too long and I would forget too many things).
Arriving in London
- Arriving at Wembley (being quite sad and moody) with my luggages at 3pm on Friday and feeling already better after few seconds with Coldplayers.
- ''- Is that Ian ? - yes that's him - wowww''
- Going to gate H&J with Chavi to film Coldplayers running... oops sorry, I mean, walking quickly :D
- Stealing some announcement papers concerning the fact the show was filmed
- Going to the hotel with C&C to rest a bit, dancing on Madonna, (throwing up after dancing on Madonna), rolling on the floor, being crazy, coughing together, singing Britney Spears...etc and getting ready to leave to the stadium for an all nighter
Friday evening and night outside the stadium
- the atmosphere when the 3 of us started to queue before the beginning of the first gig
- seeing all those couple arguing before the gig and helping a guy to find his crying wife
- dancing, singing and enjoying the gig from outside the stadium during the first songs
- Policemen making sure ''everything's alright'' : they actually thought we were there only to enjoy a free concert but they ended up making sure we were ready enough for the night, lovely !
- First roadie coming to give each of us a LRLRL
- In my place : we started doing what the guys were doing inside the stadium, Carla was Guy, Chavi was Chris and I played Jonny. Some roadies passed by and I explained I was Jonny, then Chavi ran to jump on my shoulders ahaha... awesomeness !
- Second roadie (Dave) coming to give the 3 of us a second LRLRL
- A guy we helped (showing him where the box office was) coming back to give one of us a FREE ticket for the Friday gig... Brotherhood ? None of us decided go on her own and we just kept the unused ticket
- Hearing the crowd singing Yellow and Fix You
- Woman working at the Wembley box office asking us if we were joking when saying we were queuing for the next gig and then making sure we were at the right gate
- Asking people who were leaving early to give us their tickets (which some of them did !) as souvenirs
- Starting to help Dave giving away some LRLRL just for fun after VLV
- Getting serious and now working for Coldplay for real :D , having fun trying to give away more CDs than the Wembley crew, enjoying this awesome experience
- Meeting some Coldplayers after the first show
- Being offered a sandwich and some tea around midnight by a Wembley security guy
- Being offered some tea again during the night by Dave
(Can you believe how everyone was SO lovely ?)
- Trying to turn off the street lights by putting some LRLRL cartons in front of them (I know I sometimes have awesome ideas ahaha)
- Coughing the whole night without sleeping
- Being saved by Noelia and Denise at morning, which enabled us to go to the hotel to take a shower and (try to) sleep a bit
Saturday's queue
- Fighting ourselves to go back in the queue at 9am (was hard to leave the comfy hotel)
- Queuing at the box office, discovering we actually spent a whole night outside at the wrong gate, crying stupidly, being saved by Min who so kindly exchanged her tix with ours  (btw Mark, thank you for running everywhere for us)
- Going back to the M&N queue, discovering lotsa Coldplayers joined us, trying to rest a bit although the weather was now way too hot for me
- Chavi and Cooky coming back from the hotel with my red rose for Miller <3
Inside Wembley
- Being ultra quick when running down the Wembley stairs  (however, as I never pay attention to the direction I'm running in, I ran to the left side whereas we said we would go to the right, I thus had to leave the barrier I reached to join Chavi, Denise and Carla which made me ending up second row with Cooky and Mark)
- Laughing at the crazy GA fan whose body was shaking of excitement before the WL
- Seeing my future husband (R#42) climbing up the stage structure to set up a camera (sad I had no voice to catch his attention though, but Cooky helped me a lot)
- Jumping and enjoying the WL with Cooky, clapping hands together (one of my hand was busy holding my Miller red rose so I was clapping her left hand with my right hand ahah)
- Laughing at the GA (we're so mean girls)
- Anna enjoying GA (shhhhush, don't deny it, I've got a the proof on video)
- Cooky killing my red rose (and me threatening her not to help her obtaining a Will drumstick XD)
- Matt (projectionist, most friendly roadie ever) seeing my ban and letting me know he'll come back to take a pic of it
- not being able to enjoy Jay-Z that much because of my cough
- ROADIE TIME (now people should know that's one of the my fav moments ahah), Miller climbing up again (but I don't think he saw my banner), Min pretending Miller wasn't here (''- come on I saw him climbing up there - that's not him - liar'')
- Matt coming back to take a picture, Brook chatting with us at the same time (promising he'll give my R#42 banner to the man and putting the rose ''IN'' my tee-shirt saying ''he already has a girlfriend'' BUHUHUHU :D), Matt coming down to sign the ban I made for him and to give Denise a guitar pick before realising he didn't have any for me
- Thanking Matt for everything when he left us
- Matt looking for me few minutes before the beginning of the gig, asking for more pictures ''cause my friends are NEVER going to believe me'', signing the ban with a better marker (had to throw the ban away at the end of the gig - because of the rain - but I kept the piece he signed :) ) and giving me 3 guitar picks ! He's so f*cking lovely, I tell ya !
- Miller setting other cameras on the left side of the stage
- Suddenly raining like cats and dogs on Jay-Z's Give it 2 me
- Going crazy under the rain
- Throwing accidentally my camera toward the stage at the begining of LiT
- The guys being all smiley and happy
- Enjoying the show for the last time
- The return of Chris Bra-tin :D
(- Chris taking off his shirt again)... I didn't write that :D
- Obtaining Will's drumstick for Cooky (yes, that was a collective work ahah)
- Last eye contacts with Chris
- A roadie (I'm pretty sure it was Dave) throwing butterflies over our heads after Lovers
- Chris saying ''Thank You'' to Anna after reading her ban !
- Last minutes... LiTii, jumping with Carla's hand in mine (sorry I kept on jumping ahah)
- The nice security guy who spent 5 min looking for my flag and signed banner under the thick carpet of butterflies at the end of the gig
- ''Another lovely roadie'' (hehe...) coming to me to gimme a setlist whereas I didn't ask for anything, this man rocks as well !
After the gig
- MEETING COLDPLAYERS, final picture, giving the big boss a guitar pick and some LRLRL
- Crazy McDonald time at 1am (apologies for being ultra tired guys, you know I hadn't slept for quite a long time)
- Meeting Coldplayers
- Meeting Coldplayers
- Meeting Coldplayers
- ...

Thanks to Ian Mr Bossman and Joe for the company at the C-stage, and the members of ColdplayItalia too. You never know how fun it is to sing at the top of your voice in a massive downpour until you actually experience a concert like that :D
I'm singin' in the rain... Just singin' in the rain... What a glorious feeling, and I'm happy again...
So what did people think of the stadium itself?

Jere: oh cool I love Jyväskylä! My friend Juha lives there and he's a Coldplay fan too! :P (but more a U2 fan..well he'll get me tickets for U2 so it's cool ;)) are you coming to see U2 in august? :P
I thought the stadium was so beautiful! As a football fan I really hope to see a game there one day! I loved the arch, tho I didn't see it lit up during the concert, only after it..And I'm only now really starting to realize how fucking huge it was! Aaand hmm..Well it was just beautiful :D I don't know about how good it is for concerts, because I we were so close so it didn't really matter, it was fine for me :D (too loud almost :D I still get that fuzzy sound in my ears when I go to sleep..not a good sign )
Anyways, I thought it was brilliant! :D

Saturday was the better of the two nights IMO. The crowd was up for it! Rain, who cares. Bring it on because everyone was there to party.
After breakfast we all stashed our junk in Chris' room at the hotel and went to queue. Can I just say how frickin awesome Chris was this whole weekend. He was running about and doing stuff for us all the time. Such a sweetie. Mich had to get to tickets, so we all split up agian til we could find out our gate. I was worried because our gate ended up being about as far from Jonny as we could get, but the crew running our gate was top notch and we got in really fast, ran....sorry we walked fast :P....to the front row in front of Jonny. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
White Lies played a nice set again. He's still pretty. :D
Girls Aloud..........why me. I developed special ear muffs made from 2 water glasses, but still it could not be blocked out.
Jay Z was kick ass! Had the whole place bouncing. Chris is practally part of his possy and got shout outs both nights. Our side had to be "Jigga whos" and everyone knows the jigga whos always suck. :\
Then comes the Coldplay and the rain. I had brought a poncho, so no worries but when Jonny ran out in it with his guitar I was afraid he would get electrocuted! :stunned: It didn't last too long and cooled down the crowd, so it was kind nice. So many great moments. The multiple chants of "Jonny" we got going. The echo of the crowd singing Trouble. I really hope this comes out as a DVD. Security was much better on second night and we got water when we asked.

More pictures from Saturday's tour finale
http://coldplay.com/graphics/news_line.png
Good afternoon. As promised, here are Saturday's overflow pictures from the Wembley live photoblog (http://coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=516) (you can see Friday's here (http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=520)).
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov20.jpg
Wires, backstage. Do you suppose anyone actually knows what all these do?
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov21.jpg
God save her.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov22.jpg
Lots of people, watching Jay-Z.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov23.jpg
Jonny was very excited to discover a copy of World Soccer in the warm-up room.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov24.jpg
Three minutes and 55 seconds until stage time (there are clocks like this everywhere behind the scenes at Wembley, presumably so that footballers don't miss kick-off).
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov25.jpg
About 30 seconds later, on the way to the stage.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov26.jpg
Sparklers lit and it's time to do this thing.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov27.jpg
This sparkler was being held by, um, one of the band.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov28.jpg
By this point, Chris was reddy to go.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov29.jpg
If anything, Guy was even more reddy.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov30.jpg
Jonny, meanwhile, was feeling blue (sorry, we'll stop these appalling colour puns now).

http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov40.jpg
Lots of the crowd are on the pitch. They think it's all over. Well it is now.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov41.jpg
It's fair to say the band had as good a time as the crowd did.
http://coldplay.com/uploads/wemov42.jpg
Hasta la vista.

How it looked from the stage about an hour later.
It really was a great night.

Hey I've got a question for you guys!
After the concert, there were these weird orange sprinkles all over my skin and my tshirt... do you think it was from the fireworks? Because I can't get it out off my yellow shirt! :bigcry:
:stunned:
I presume my emergency poncho must have done the trick!;)

Guys, if it didn't come from the glow sticks, and if you think it came from the fireworks...you should definitely tell Debs! Don't you think?
Did these strange orange things on your skin disappear quickly after the concert?

I thought it was just me. I thought I was having an allergic reaction or something, all over my arms. I was a bit worried! Little orange dots everywhere.

That was probably me, I was kinda freaked out. And it took 2 good showers with lots of scrubbing to come out. It never came off the shirt, though.:\ That shirt looks like it got dragged around Wembley's floor.
Umm I haven't done a review:shame: It's ok, right Boss? I'm sure you've got billions. I didn't take any pics, and I'm still suffering from the coldplayer's illness.
Let's just say it was FANFUCKINGTASTIC, and one of the best times in my life, and fun and emotional and an awesome way to end the VLV tour for me. Oh and I FINALLY got a drumstick:drummer:--so really, no complaints at all.:D (well maybe that it was such a high that I'm still suffering from coming off it:cry:). The end.
