When I first heard Violet Hill, i thought it sounded like it could be Phil Collin's genesis, specifically a song like "That's All" or something, and now, Strawberry Swing reminds me of something like "Throwing it All Away".

The song has a melody and chord change that reminds me of Eno's An Ending Ascent. This song also is featured in Frou Frou's Hear Me Out. What do you all think.

Not heard SS, but definately agree with the VH reference.

Funnily enough, I was watching the Live DVD today, and Guy was being interviewed about his musical influences and he mentioned Genesis, in a guilty pleasures kind of way
