Who is singing backup on Viva la Vida?

At exactly 3:00 minutes into the song, there is a wonderful backup vocal being sung, and it's not Chris. Is it Guy? I hope so. Guy singing live would be so great.

I can picture Will singing that backup, if it IS in fact a member of the band singing it...

Jonny boy does the low vocals (Daylight) and Guy doesn't really approach a microphone much. Also consider the extra vocal part at the outro of the song as well, who might that be?? :stunned:

yeah I thought it was Will too. He usuallly does the backing vocals but it is hard to tell.

You could be right, it is probably Will the more I think about it. But, either way it's one of my favorite parts of a overall fantastic song.

I thought it was all the boys singing that backup vocal? Very nice..hope there's more of that on the new album. Reminds me of Fix You where they all sing that beautiful part together...

I'm more interested to know who the choir is that harmonize during the outro... Anyone know?

actually i believe its just will and chris on fix you. on viva la vida i can't remember off the top of my head. will doing the woahs.

Actually it was the first time all 4 guys sang together in Fix You.

Chris once said it was just him on Fix You, layered about 8 times. Then I think another time Will said he is on it. I don't think any of them can actually remember lol.

according to a couple sources, it's just will and chris on "fix you," just multi-tracked, but they all sing it together live.

i really do think it's all of them on VLV. chris did say that this album had more group vocals, and we know they're all on VH, and this sounds somewhat similar to me...
