thanks so much, that helps a lot!! Those section 105 seats look awesome!! section 122 (other side) is equally as good then?? Where would you rather sit? Is it hard seeing over the heads of people in front if I'm on the floor? (I'm taking some friends who are much shorter than me)

When I bought my Foos ticket, I was afraid of it being too much on the side but it wasn't . 105 will be Guy's side and 122 will be Jonny's side. Don't forget that with the stage extensions, they will be walking right in front of those sections. I am also short and I personally wouldn't sit more than 10 rows back on the floor and there is always the chance of giant fucker getting the row in front of you. I sat in row 4 on the floor in Dallas last tour (the venues are pretty much the same construction) and I was blocked but tall shits in front of me. :angry:

I would say the floor has a slightly different atmosphere, but since it's reserved floor with chairs :dozey: not quite the same as general admission floor which is much better. The seating has the better view, plus because of the incline you rarely will have anyone tall enough to block your view....unless Yao Ming comes to the show. :laugh3:. For the Foos, the RHCP and the time I have seen Coldplay there before, no one sat down in the entire place the entire night, so it's not like the seats will be dull or anything.

I have to add I also have aisle seats for section E, so I guess it wont be that bad.. either way I'm gonna try hard to upgrade my tickets.

I have a bit of experience in the ticket sales area. lol. I tried to be realistic with my chances and I know the front row floor seats are usually long gone before the onsale date, even with a presale available.I was on one computer and my sis on another and we kept getting sections 115 and 116. I also kept getting floor F but I'm kinda short and didn't wanna be too far back so I decided to keep trying and after about 5 minutes I picked up those seats. I'm guessing what happened was that someone on the phone with an operator decided to try for other seats or something and let them go and I picked em up. I'm super happy I'm finally gonna go see em. Now I just have to wait about 3 months. Good luck trying to upgrade, but you're seats aren't too bad, unless you're short. But they still are center floor seats. :)

Last time they came to Houston, Rita caused them to cancel their performance in The Woodlands. They came around again (Thank you!!!) and I was able to see them. I was section 421, second to last row from the top. Chris was very small, but just as loud and amazing. With some luck and connections, I was able to get bumped down to the 107 section. Basically any 100 section close to the stage is a great view of the band. You can make out their facial expressions; you can't do that very well from nose-bleed.

This time around I have Section A, Row 7. I promised myself I wouldn't suffer nose-bleed again.

Anyone near me?

Also, when the guys were here last, I'm pretty sure they stayed at the Four Seasons hotel downtown. I'm thinking of hanging out in the bar some on Monday night....maybe they'll have it stocked with the "good" lagers the band often requests! Does anyone know the set list they will be playing?

Hey Davi017,

Generally they play the same set list that they perform at the other venues. I made an iTunes playlist that matches the setlist.

Coldplaying.com has a Tour section that posts the set lists from past shows. This (http://www.coldplaying.com/index.php?name=Sections&req=viewarticle&artid=865&page=1) is what I'm guessing they should be playing. They usually don't deviate from the norm but Coldplay can always surprise everyone! :D

Hey Timmy21girl,

You can bring a camera, just as long as it's not a professional camera. A point-and-shoot should be fine. You can bring it in a purse or a bag or your pockets (how I roll.) The doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30, so you should aim to be there around 5-6 so you can situated in the venue, get merch, food, etc. But the good thing is that it is reserved seats for all so you're guaranteed a seat, but traffic, crowds and etc. might be a thick if you're late.

Don't forget your ticket and have a safe trip! Sign up with Oxfam at the concert! :)

I wouldn't just put it in your pocket. They will make you empty your pockets. I always just crotch mine.
Doors open at 6:30 so I'd get there around that time.
Where are you driving from? We're from McAllen but flying out of Harlingen tomorrow.

Houston was the closest they are coming to where I live again. :( On the X&Y tour I drove 6 hours to Houston and then another 2 to Dallas the next day and ended up with a 9 hour drive home, but its worth it!!! :D

Gwennie was in Houston last night (Sunday) to catch the Madonna show here and both of them are staying at the Four Seasons downtown (with Madonna checking out sooner than Gwyneth). Mrs. Martin is said to be staying at the hotel and was waiting to meet up with Chris and the band today as they arrived from last night's show in OKC.

HOLY CRAP - my all-time favorite band is here in Houston!!!! YEEHAW!!! I'm working on getting a babysitter right now so my husband and I can sneak away to the hotel bar for some drinks and possible sightings. :cool:

They hardly ever stay in the city the play in. They do a runner right after the show and the cars take them directly to their plane. All last week they were in Miami...which means after both Atlanta shows and the Orlando show they flew back to Miami.;)

One of them asked me what Oxfam is when i mentioned it, two of them didn't know Moses even existed, another one said i was a HUGE fan because i know all of their songs from the last record and another one doubted on the names of the members of Coldplay that are NOT Chris............:inquisitive: :inquisitive: :inquisitive:
