turn it up! or try a bass boost, some stereos have it and if youre in a car (while your parents drive *ahem*) adjust the bass...you know!

Turn up the bass and volume, and go into the room next to the room where the music is playing. :D

isnt that dangerous? guitar amps arent usually built to withstand bass, thats why they have bass amps. My friend blew out his guitar amp that way.

Learn to play songs on the bass, then you'll be able to hear where its coming from better. Just simple songs, nothing fancy.

My stereo has GREAT bass. Nice big subwoofers. My bedroom is fairly small right now, so I only have to turn it up to like 15 and it's already too loud. (Max Volume is 30). Cost me $299 Canadian. (Approx. $210 U.S)

Here's a picture of it :D :D

I wanna learn how to play the bass once I finish with a guitar :D oh and if you want a song that you can hear the bass very clearly try 'As You Are' by Travis... then you'll be able to hear the bass better in other songs too :P

Ya, I'm a drummer and I can hear the bass in Clocks especially well, because its going constantly. Drumming to clocks is Very tiring unless u got double bass pedals. Anyways I think it helps the bass if u turn up the volume and put pillows and/or blankets on/infront of the speakers.

i have the same problem, and i soon must learn to work with a bass player too being a drummer and all seeing how it is the rythym section. i can hardly ever hear bass in a song, but i can hear must bass drum parts in a song.

Initially, it was hard for me to hear it as well. It's that sound right at the back sorta, In the chorus of 'I ran away' you can hear it really well, so maybe if you listen to that you will be able to recognise the bass in other songs better....uh...hmmm... *Gives up* Oooh, i failed to explain!! :/
