Why do certain countries have ambassador awards and others do not?

I understand that, and I'm not bitching, just wondering. I would say Italy has just as many members here as France. And Oz/NZ, they have many members here. USA? Just wondering what made you select the 3 that are represented?

I guess it's about languages, not countries

spanish ambassador is for spain and latin american of course (¨*coughdontforgettovotelore*) there's many people from these places so I think is a right award

about the Deutschland and French embassadors..... well.. I don't really know.. I guess that we'd need an italian ambassador too

let's create the chilean embassador award so I'd have any chances in that category :wacky:

OK the language thing makes sense. Next year maybe add Italian and Portuguese cuz lots of peeps here speak those.

It's biased. Should have been all or nothing. I feel especially sorry for all those Outer Mongolians personally........................... :(

It would be really hard to keep track of votes and categories if there were ambassador awards for every country. I completely understand that.

So just add one more...CANADA!!!!!!! (and vote Briggins!)

Keep it simple:
North America
South America
Asia
Africa
Europe
Oceania/Antarctica

Simple way for Ambassadors.

We feel we're about as much an extensio of the US as the English feel they're an extension of Europe!:P

I like the continental ambassador idea...and since we had an antarctic revolution last year, I agree Antarctica s hould be included, lol.

They will have to put up with it.

Until the Olympics get a 6th ring for Antarctica, then they will be stuck with Oceania

Aren't you just a freak asking for a punch in the nose? :P

(I kid, I kid.)

But seriously... It felt less like a foreign country when I was in Ireland than when I live in the States.... :stunned: It's the little things.

Thank you, Erin and Briggins!! I didn't want to have to handle him alone...although he's a brit. He probably wouldn't have been much of a challenge in a snowball fight,lol.:laugh3:

But actually, Mark, you're right about Tom Cruise!
