It hardly comes as a surprise… Osama plans to release “a new video recording … on or before next week’s sixth anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the United States,” reports the Voice of America (http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-09-06-voa90.cfm), the propaganda unit established by the Office of War Information. “No photos or video of Bin Laden have been seen since late 2004, and the last audio message attributed to the fugitive terrorist leader was heard more than a year ago.” Of course, this makes perfect sense, as Osama died in late 2001, and as for the audio messages, these are routinely dismissed as fakes, although this is rarely mentioned by the corporate media.

“Two private monitoring organizations—SITE intelligence Group and IntelCenter—say an announcement, in the name of al-Qaida’s media-production arm, al-Sahab, seen on an Islamist website this week indicates the new al-Qaida video is about to be released,” VOA continues. As Neal Krawetz (http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2007/08/researchers-ana.html), a researcher and computer security consultant, noted last month, a recent al-Zawahiri video contained a few interesting anomalies, i.e., the IntelCenter and al-Qaeda logos were added to the tape at the same time. Krawetz, however, has since recanted, probably after a midnight visit by MIB. Even so, the customer should be wary of IntelCenter’s offerings, especially when the latest video supposedly contains an image of Osama, at least ten years old. VOA characterizes this image as “a recent portrait of bin Laden,” leading your humble blogger to believe Osama uses Grecian Formula from his Afghan cave hideaway.

“The United States is offering a $25-million reward for bin Laden, but he has eluded capture since the 2001 attacks on New York and Washington,” the propaganda unit concludes. “President Bush says the U.S. will find Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice, no matter how long it takes.”

Go figure. It wasn’t that long ago Bush told the Fox News neocon and Weekly Standard editor Fred Barnes (http://thinkprogress.org/2006/09/14/barnes-osama/) capturing bin Laden is “not a top priority use of American resources” and “bin Laden doesn�t fit with the administration�s strategy for combating terrorism.”

Of course, this makes sense, as capturing a dead guy is “not a top priority,” and besides, terrorism—that is to say state-sponsored and false flag terrorism—has worked like a charm.

Don’t expect any self-respecting neocon to walk away from that winner.

Neo-Cons Enlist Bin Laden's Help To Counter 9/11 Truth
Discredited Pentagon-affiliated IntelCenter to release another dubious tape right when Bush needs it most, Osama pops up hours after new Zogby poll shows Americans want new 9/11 investigation for second time running


The U.S. government, via its closely affiliated IntelCenter front, is to release a new tape of Osama Bin Laden on the sixth anniversary of 9/11 in a desperate ploy to counter 9/11 truth and a new Zogby poll that again proves the majority of Americans are highly suspect of the official story.

A pre-released image shows an apparently older looking Bin Laden with a dyed dark brown beard, meaning the individual in the tape is either a body double or the terror master has been using Grecian Formula 16 in between his dashing from cave to cave across the mountainous Pakistani border region.

But whether you think it's Bin Laden or not is really beside the point, if Bin Laden was dead it would be necessary to perpetuate the myth anyway, the thing to bear in mind here is that Osama has never failed in ensuring his tapes get released at the most politically opportune times - not for 'Al-Qaeda' - but for the Neo-Cons and the Bush administration.

In addition, the security services and IntelCenter have been caught on numerous occasions doctoring Bin Laden tapes and passing off footage they filmed as originating from Al-Qaeda, as well as claiming that 6-year-old footage is new material. Their credibility on this issue has been shot to pieces again and again and only the supremely naive or the witting dupe would lend any credence to the authenticity of this new tape.

First and foremost, in the same vein as the History Channel hit piece (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2007/210807_dirty_tricks.htm), the tape is an attempt to rescue the tattered and torn credibility of the official 9/11 fairy tale, as well as providing a media distraction to obfuscate the 9/11 truth events that kick off today at ground zero and continue on into next week's anniversary.

A new Zogby International poll released yesterday (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2007/060907_b_zogby.htm)shows that 51% of Americans (up from 45% last year) want Bush and Cheney to be directly investigated for their actions on 9/11 and 67% fault the 9/11 Commission for their failure to probe the anomalous collapse of WTC 7.

Hours after the release of the poll Bin Laden pops up and promises us a new editorial comment. Coincidence? Precisely the same thing happened last year. On May 23rd 2006, a Zogby poll was released showing nearly half of Americans wanted a new 9/11 investigation. The very next day, Bin Laden popped up (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/may2006/240506zogbypoll.htm) to reinforce the official version and threaten new attacks. Can lightening strike twice in the same place?

The Osama tapes are about as genuine as a used car salesman convention, and have been proven fraudulent on countless occasions. For those who still scoff at the notion that the Neo-Cons would be behind the release of the tapes, consider the fact that the Pentagon admitted that they undertook a "propaganda campaign to magnify the role of the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq," (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/april2006/270406pentagonpsyop.htm) Musab Al-Zarqawi, which was targeted at the "U.S. home audience" and that the discovery of the program was followed by the release of a video tape featuring....you guessed it - Musab Al-Zarqawi.

The Washington Post even described (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/04/09/AR2006040900890_pf.html) how the Pentagon had concocted fake Al-Zarqawi letters boasting about suicide attacks and leaked them to Dexter Filkins of the New York Times, who splashed them on the front page the next day.

If the Pentagon had no qualms about faking communications from other Al-Qaeda leaders and passing them off as real to the U.S. media, then why would they refrain from doing the same with the Bin Laden tapes?

In our previous groundbreaking investigation (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/october2006/051006redhanded.htm), we exposed IntelCenter, the middleman between "Al-Qaeda's media arm" and the press, and the organization that routinely obtains the tapes, as little more than a Pentagon front group staffed by individuals with close connections to Donald Rumsfeld and the U.S war machine.

Computer analyst Neal Krawetz discovered last month (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2007/030807_reverses_stance.htm) that the As-Sahab logo (the alleged media arm of Al-Qaeda) and the IntelCenter logo (a U.S. based private intelligence organization that "monitors terrorist activity") were both added to the Al-Qaeda videos at the same time. Though Krawetz re-affirmed his conclusion in an interview with Wired News, after the fact became public, he mysteriously recanted.

Krawetz original analysis, before he was obviously pressured to withdraw it, clearly suggests that IntelCenter is directly manufacturing the tapes and that "As-Sahab" is a contrived hoax to promulgate the myth that the tapes are coming from Al-Qaeda.

IntelCenter's denial of of this whole episode should be taken with a pinch of salt, for it was Ben Venzke's company that knowingly re-released 6 years old footage of Bin Laden (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2007/180707oldfootage.htm) that many quarters of the media treated as new. IntelCenter itself had released the same footage in October 2003 and it still appears dated as such on their own website (http://www.prisonplanet.com/images/july2007/180707osama3.jpg).

The organization was also behind the so-called "laughing hijackers" tape (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/october2006/051006redhanded.htm), which was passed off as originating from Al-Qaeda's media arm, but was later exposed as being secret surveillance footage filmed by U.S. intelligence in 2000.

At upwards of $4,000 dollars a year in intelligence packages that are sold on their website, IntelCenter has a lucrative financial motive to keep the supply of Al-Qaeda tapes rolling.

For the Bush administration and the Neo-Cons, the tapes are routinely delivered on a silver platter at the most politically expedient moments, and a fresh injection on behalf of Bin Laden for the flagging war on terror on the 6th anniversary of 9/11 is precisely what Bush needs to help keep U.S. troops in Iraq until the next election, as Bush is quoted as holding out for in his own recent biography.

The last Bin Laden tape, despite later being proven as re-hashed footage originally filmed in 2001 that was actually released on two separate occasions before, emerged right at the time when the 6 months "wait and see" period after the surge was up and was used to mandate the endless occupation of Iraq.

Whether it's to justify a war, win an election or divert from a scandal, Bin Laden can always be relied upon to come up with the goods and save Bush's bacon.

Both Kerry (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/november2004/221104binladencost.htm) and Bush (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/february2006/280206binladenshelp.htm) attributed the President's 2004 re-election to Osama Bin Laden's appearance in a video tape just days before the vote. On the eve of the Iraq war during Colin Powell's infamous presentation to the UN, an audio tape in which bin Laden claimed he was allied with Saddam Hussein (http://www.prisonplanet.com/another_dubious_bin_laden_tape_comes_when_the_us_n eeded_it_the_most.htm) surfaced, a gift-wrapped present for the Neo-Cons who had consistently been proven wrong in their assertion that there was a connection between Iraq and 9/11.

Trimmed Bin Laden in media-savvy war

After an unexplained absence of nearly three years, the al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, has appeared once more on a 30-minute video posted on an Islamist website.

The last time he was seen in a video was in October 2004, in an address to the American electorate just before the US presidential elections.

His beard appears dark, thick and trimmed, although analysts have suggested that, rather than being dyed, it may be actually false, and that to help avoid detection he is clean-shaven these days

Since then he has delivered an audio message in January 2006, again posted on Islamist websites.

Now this latest video message, released just before the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, will dispel the growing rumours that he has been dead for some time and remind both his followers and his enemies that the man with a $50m bounty on his head is still at large.

At first glance the 50-year old Osama Bin Laden, known to his fellow jihadists as Abu Abdullah, looks younger than he did in 2004.

Gone is the straggly, unkempt beard that was heavily flecked with grey.

Instead, his beard appears dark, thick and trimmed, although analysts have suggested that rather than being dyed, it may be actually false, and that to help avoid detection he is clean-shaven these days.

The al-Qaeda leader's face still looks tired and lined, as befits a fugitive who may well have to sleep in different locations almost every night, but it is not quite as gaunt or exhausted looking as it was three years ago.

His clean white turban or, 'imma, is the same and Bin Laden wears a traditional white Saudi thaub - a long-sleeved shirt that extends all the way down below the knees.

Over this he is seen wearing a cream-coloured bisht - a cloak worn by respected sheikhs, tribal elders and religious leaders in the Arab world.

Location

Not surprisingly, the video gives little away about where it was made.

Unlike an earlier video which showed Bin Laden and his strategic mentor Ayman al-Zawahiri striding down a mountainside, this one has been filmed against a plain cloth background.

That previous video was intensively studied by both the Arab media and Western intelligence analysts to try to determine where it was shot, and it was presumed to be close to the ill-defined border that separates Afghanistan from Pakistan.

The last known sighting of Bin Laden by anyone other than his very close entourage was in late 2001 as he prepared to flee from his stronghold in the caves of Tora Bora.

He is widely assumed to have travelled east, across into Pakistan to be given hospitality and shelter by certain local Pashtun tribesmen loyal to the Taleban and opposed to their own government led by President Pervez Musharraf.

Osama Bin Laden is a tall, distinctive-looking man, and it is highly unlikely he would be able to pass unnoticed in urban areas such as a crowded bazaar in Karachi.

This video comes just a few days before the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, at a time when Americans are growing weary of the war in Iraq and the whole "war on terror" rhetoric, and are starting to turn their attention to next year's presidential elections.

The video, bearing the mark of al-Sahab productions - al-Qaeda's media production arm, thought to based in Pakistan - is not dated, but Bin Laden does make reference to recently elected Western leaders like French President Nicolas Sarkozy and UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, which indicates it was recorded this summer.

Wedge-driving messages

As well as reassuring his followers that he is still alive, this video is primarily directed at the US public, urging them to embrace Islam "in order to stop the war in Iraq".

Bin Laden expresses amazement that the US electorate gave President Bush a second term in office, giving Bush, he says, "a clear mandate from you... to continue to murder our people in Iraq and Afghanistan".

Events in Iraq, says Bin Laden, are "out of control" adding that President Bush "is like the one who ploughs and sows the sea. He harvests nothing but failure".

Unlike some of the more psychopathic adherents of al-Qaeda, Bin Laden has often tried to sway the opinions of the Western public in the hopes of driving a wedge between them and their leaders, and between European countries and his most hated enemy, the US government.

This, he says, has bled America dry economically.

Osama Bin Laden, despite his geographical isolation, has always shown a keen interest in the global media and Western journalists were able to interview him in Sudan then Afghanistan between 1996 and 2001.

Unlike some of the more psychopathic adherents of al-Qaeda, Bin Laden has often tried to sway the opinions of the Western public in the hopes of driving a wedge between them and their leaders, and between European countries and his most hated enemy, the US government.

This latest video, like earlier ones issued after the Madrid bombings in 2004 and just before the last US presidential elections, is a part of this strategy.

Introduces martyrdom of hijacker who is still alive, references to current events occur during video freeze

The newly released Osama Bin Laden video is a an iron clad forgery, and not even a good one at that. All references to current events made by the figure said to be Bin Laden occur at a point in the video where the picture freezes and only audio is present. Bin Laden also presents a pre recorded martyrdom video of one of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, Waleed al Shehri, who was reported by the BBC as still alive and well in Saudi Arabia.


Hits to Blogs such as this one (http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2007/9/9/61032/95401) have sky rocketed as they have been the first to point out the suspicious aspects of the video which has become public in full for the first time today:Osama Bin Laden's widely publicized video address to the American people has a peculiarity that casts serious doubt on its authenticity: the video freezes at about 1 minute and 58 seconds, and motion only resumes again at 12:30. The video then freezes again at 14:02 remains frozen until the end. All references to current events, such as the 62nd anniversary of the U.S. atomic bombing of Japan, and Sarkozy and Brown being the leaders of France and the UK, respectively, occur when the video is frozen! The words spoken when the video is in motion contain no references to contemporary events and could have been (and likely were) made before the U.S. invasion of Iraq.


The audio track does appear to be in the voice of a single speaker. What I suspect was done is that an older, unreleased video was dubbed over for this release, with the video frozen when the audio track departed from that of the original video.

Also of note is the fact that when Bin Laden begins to talk about the 19 hijackers the video becomes jerky as if some of it has been edited out or altered.

No, actually Waleed al Shehri was not one of the hijackers on flight 11, as reported by the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1559151.stm) and other mainstream media outlets shortly after 9/11. The report which was quickly memory-holed in the aftermath of the attacks stated:Saudi Arabian pilot Waleed Al Shehri was one of five men that the FBI said had deliberately crashed American Airlines flight 11 into the World Trade Centre on 11 September.


His photograph was released, and has since appeared in newspapers and on television around the world.

Now he is protesting his innocence from Casablanca, Morocco.


He told journalists there that he had nothing to do with the attacks on New York and Washington, and had been in Morocco when they happened. He has contacted both the Saudi and American authorities, according to Saudi press reports.
So ask yourself this, why is Osama Bin Laden under the impression that this man was on board flight 11, and why does he have a martyrdom video starring this man when this man is still alive and is not being held nor sought by the FBI in connection with 9/11?

The actual release of the video has been delayed in order to whip up a media frenzy ahead of the sixth anniversary of the attacks. US intelligence and mainstream media outlets have both had possession of the video for a number of days if not weeks now, it has only been leaked onto the internet today.

Yet reports (http://prisonplanet.com/articles/september2007/090907Wanted.htm) continue to be written stating: "For the first time in nearly three years, the new-look bin Laden will be unveiled on television screens across the world when he releases a televised statement to mark the sixth anniversary of the September 11 attacks."

Osama Bin Laden does not control the US intelligence agencies or the mainstream media, there has been a conscious decision to delay the release of the video in order to give it maximum impact on the anniversary of 9/11. In this sense, even if you still choose to believe that the videos are authentic Al Qaeda productions in the face of all the evidence to the contrary, there is no denying that our own media at the behest of the government is using the tapes as propaganda.

The failure on the part of any mainstream media source to question or even to mention at all the highly suspect freezing in the video at the exact points where Bin Laden speaks of current events is scandalous and betrays a total lack of willingness to properly investigate and report accurate information.

To their credit some analysts have pointed out the wholly fake beard (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2007/080907beard.htm) that "Osama" has apparently donned, while other apologists have attempted to pass it off as an "image change" for the terrorist leader, saying he has dyed his beard and hair in an attempt to appear younger and more stern, which some, including the intelligence agency linked SITE Institute (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2007/090907SITE.htm), have laughably claimed is "common practice" amongst Muslim men. In reality it is wholly uncommon for Muslim men to dye their beards black.

Previously released Bin Laden videos have been revealed to be old footage dating from five years ago, yet have still been passed off as new (http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2007/180707oldfootage.htm) by the mainstream media.

In reality, all the evidence points to IntelCenter itself directly releasing the tapes in its role as a front for the military-industrial complex.

However undertake a modicum of research into Gadahn and you will discover from mainstream news reports that he is a hardcore Jewish Zionist who once wrote stinging essays condemning Muslims as "bloodthirsty terrorists,".

The propaganda can be no better emphasized than with a cursory analysis of stills of the new video. Who added the new backdrop depicting a plane flying into an 11 and a 9? It certainly was not present in the actual video nor in stills released last week. So exactly who is helping Bin Laden out with his public image this week?
