TORONTO CONCERT BROADCAST ON THE NET

Wednseday's (6-11-03) show will be broadcast in Toronto on 102.1 FM, and will also be live on their site at http://www.edge102.com/ starting at 9pm.

Does anyone know how to record this (via Radio or Internet) and turn it into an MP3??, I would really like to burn a CD from this show since I will be in attendance. I promise it will only be used to build my personal collection.

They didn't play highspeed or Shiver at the concert. They just weren't allowed to play new, unreleased songs on the radio. ;) The songs were supposed to be Moses and The World Turns Upside Down, or whatever it's called.

I would have recorded it with a program called Cakewalk Sonar, but I was too busy attending the concert with floor tickets. :p You can use Cakewalk Sonar to record any sound on your computer, even if you double click an icon and it makes a noise. Its good stuff. :)

i bought the light blue coldplay shirt..and the maketradefair shirt! it so nice! the blue one is so soft. i love my shirts!

So many people were smoking weed! you could smell is so much! and the people in front of me were really drunk! it was so annoying! then this girl beside us spilt beer on her boyfriend.. : P...eehhh
I wish they would've played more..
they could have made the show 2 hours instead..but ehh whatever..
Ron sexsmith was totally RAD! aww man, then CHRIS came one! i was so happy! i was almost freaking out!
Moss Eisley's pretty good, i wanted to buy a cd, but I couldn't find any after the show, i also wanted to buy a poster for my coldplay wall..but i couldnt find that after the show too..oh well
It took so long just to get there! i was so angry because i wanted to go there right after school...ahhh..oh well, i still got to see them!!
at the end of the concert, i was yelling "dont stop playing!" it was so great.
there were a lot of cool looking guys too!
damn, i wish that night never ended!

How much was the Maketradefair shirt? What colour was it? I saw it, but I didn't know you could buy them. I just handed in my little card and left. :(

I bought the Coldplay t-shirt with the Tour dates and cities at the back. It's a cool colour. 8)

the make trade fair t-shirt was 20 bucks..its was like the shirt that the people were wearing..the people handing it out. its really big on me. its white, with the maketradefair logo and the same on the back..REVERSABLE SHIRT! hehe no its not...and it has oxfam on the right shoulder. i wanted a black maketradefair shirt..but i dont think they had any..

sorry for my absence. my internet wasn't working. aaaanyways... the conert was AMAZING!! i think i had the best lawn seats available. they were pretty much center and there was no noe in front of me the whole time. :D great experiance. the toronto star has a review of the concert. *sigh* i want to go to another one. :( i am still VERY satisfied. ahh what a great night. chirs said at the end of the conert, "if you have time, go to maketradefair.com. well it doesn't really matter. actually it does. if you don't go you are an idiot. :P probably not his exact word but almost.
chris performed in gold in them hills! everyone started cheering. :D
the conert ended about 11:10 so it was roughly an hour and forty minutes. i am going to write a full review of the conert in another thread. soon... probably not today though :P

did you have to get special tickets to be in the crowd? or could you just go there..because me and my sister were going to try to get in the crowd but i wasn't sure..

You had to order them very early. If tickets were being sold starting Wednesday at 12am (and I think they were), then you had to be on the internet at that time to buy them, asap.

Oh, plus being a member of In My Place at the official Coldplay website gives people an advanced warning, and makes tickets available a few days earlier than for regular folk. Thats how I got my tickets. Non-members who went through ticketmaster had to wait until Saturday to buy tickets. :D

And I'm not sure what you're talking about. There doesn't seem to be too many other people who had "floor" seats. Just me and maybe 2-3 other people I've noticed here thus far.

You need a recording? Tell us when it's on The Edge 102.1 website, and I'll record it. 8) Unfortunately, I have no way to give it to you guys unless you tell me how. I made a website (for free) from http://www.pageproducer.com/index.asp, but I'm not sure if they would allow me to host such a big ass file, or many small files for that matter. :cry:
