CCC [Project]: Isle Of Wight Festival 2006 activities?

Hi all! I just realized this morning that the Isle Of Wight Festival is nearly upon us! Earlier there was talk of making some CCC banners/posters, fliers, etc promoting charities/charitable work, and the club in general. Perhaps a flier to pass out to audience members to hold up during a specific song (like the Happy Birthday Chris signs earlier this year).

If there are enough people going and enough people interested to help organize something hasta pronto, perhaps we could make this work!!

Please use this thread to post ANY ideas you may have. If you know someone who is going, please direct them here.

For those of you who are able to pass out fliers, or do whatever is necessary, please post and say so. I'll compile a list of people who can help to see if this is even feasible. We don't have too much time!

Oh, and if you are one of those lucky ducks who is going......have FUN!!! :cool2:

Hmm.. so far I think grange1975 said s/he made (or was making?) some CCC business cards to hand out at IOW. I think that's a great idea.. I can also make some fliers if there's any interest.. it'd be awesome if we could have something bigger that contains a little more info handed out as well!

Unfortunately, I did not have the time or money to pull that one off, although it was a great idea - I should have thought about it earlier. I have created a banner though which mentions the Coldplaying Charity Club, so I hope that will get picked up by people.

Will let you know what happens.

Yeah, we really should have posted this thread waaaaay earlier. I had it in my mind this whole time, but IOW just snuck up on us too fast.

:lol: Too late. IOW (http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=38)took place yesterday. Shame we couldn't get anything organized in time. :(

I did the banner, took it down to the Isle of Wight with me, and then read the ticket which mentioned no banners allowed, so I didn't take it in as I didn't want it confiscated. Better luck next time!! :cry:
