Let's all show Zali how many people care by writing him letters!
You may either:
1) Hand write a letter to the Mali field office @:
Mali Field Office
Save the Children (USA)
Quartier Dramanebougon
Pres Du Lycee Kaukou Moussa
BP 3105, Bambako, Mali
Be sure to include the following information on the envelope:
Donor ID: 1760416-1 (Child ID: 09104221)
Sponsored Child's Name: Zali Djire
Sponsored Child's Community: Gouaran, Mali
Or...
2) You can post a message for Zali in this thread, which will be printed out and mailed to him. If you would prefer to keep your message a little more private, email your letter to coldplaying.for.charity@gmail.com (it will be printed out and included in the same bunch of letters from this thread). Please note that all mail is opened and inspected at the Mali field office to protect the sponsored child. Also, as we may directly print and mail this thread to Zali, please refrain from any 'extra/off topic posts' :P .... post here once you have formulated your letter for Zali - just want to keep this thread as 'clean' as possible. Thanks! :)
Save the Children has provided us with a few letter writing suggestions:
Keep you letter short and easy to read so your child will be able to understand and appreciate it.
Some suggested topics you may want to write about include:
- Name and age of your family and friends
- Descriptions of the state or country you live in
- You favorite time of the year
- A brief description of your job or hobbies
- How happy you are to sponsor him/her
- Take an interest in your sponsored child's life, and ask him/her questions
It is also encouraged that we send Zali photos of ourselves as well, so you'd like, post a pic of yourself with your message, or email the photo to coldplaying.for.charity@gmail.com.
In one months time, this thread and all emails/photos will be printed off and mailed to Zali. :D
