My general opinion is that I've tried to let our 'debating' die, whereas you have to not only start, but respond to every single little thing I say (Unless it leaves you speechless to defend yourself).

I didnt even call this a bad thread, all I said was:
Yes, this idea for a thread gives you the right to criticise mine. Well done.
I was simply saying that this thread is as good as mine, so I never understood why you criticise mine. I really dont see why you had to argue about it, unless you think this is a superior thread to any of mine (Arrogance). Oh the irony

I'm actually going to refrain from commenting on this thread for the following reasons:
1. I don't know the history to the thread, and the possibility that it might be facetious in its creation due to another thread, which does seem the possibility, makes me a bit hesitant to participate
2. The argument between Pingu and Mark seems to have derived from nowhere, as well as previous arguments before Pingu entered the thread, which seem to derive from point one. Despite Mark expecting me to take his side in this, I see this thread as being no more than any different from Pingu's perhaps with the exception that there aren't 12 of them.
My main problem with Pingu's threads have never been really the content - in fact, my first argument with him was due to him not liking what I put in his thread, not the other way around - but the number of them, an argument that I was trying, and failing to put forward to biased opinion and deaf ears.
Either way, the subject of Pingu's threads seemed to be an inappropriate one in a thread about turkey's when the main arguments wasn't as to the quality of this thread, but as to whether it was racially motivated.
I must, however, criticise the number of people who were as naive as me before reading this thread, and automatically assumed it was racial before trying to find out, and ignored Mark's pleas to the contrary.
End of post :)

Well as far as I know there have never been any jokes about "your" country on this or any other thread.
You're just way too super-sensitive.
Turkey (the nation) is spelt with a capital "T", whilst turkey (the bird) ISN'T a proper noun, and is therefore spelt with a small "T".

I thought that's what you meant but just wasn't sure. Well i'm against these people. When i first started this site people accused my threads of being pointless but they were always meant to be taken as a joke. I made "What's your favourite" and thought of loads of different topics but some people didn't give them a chance. They were meant for comedy value for people to discuss their favoutite whatever and also for the subject to get changed to discuss whatever. That's why i liked your thread because it can be taken seriously but also has a comedy element to it. People on this site tend to start pointless threads with no comedy value at all and then they tell me and other people that their threads are pointless, it's best it ignore these people and post what you want. Anyway your thread has pleased the Partridge and many others so i don't see no harm in it al all.
