how did the band come up with their name? i heard it was from a children's poem or from a neighbor named tim. can some one tell me specifics. simply curious. thanx

It was actually the name of another band from University College and they didn't want it, so Chris & co. took it. I think that's how it went... :?

But yeah, technically the name came from both. The play and their friends band. And I don't think the name is depressing at all. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's one of the best band names out there.

It's because of Will's fish fondness. I've read somewhere that he has a serious "fish problem"- he can't get enough of the stuff. :wink: NO, I'm just kidding. But I'm glad they changed it. Starfish is a horrible name.
