Surrounded by people who hate Coldplay

Does anyone else have this problem? It just seems most of the people I know can't stand Coldplay,'specially my friends. They like to tease me about my...enthusiasm for them :P I deal with it, and don't try to push my music on 'em, but it would be nice to talk about them with someone else...

...which is why I joined here,I suppose :)

Anyone else in the same boat? Ever had an experience where you end up defending yourself against someone else who doesn't share your taste in music?

I have converted several coworkers to CP fans, basically, they had really never listened to their music, so I just make them a couple CDs and everyone has come back with "Wow, this music is so good" And I reply, "Yes, another Coldplay fan!". I'm lucky too I guess I have friends with good taste. Well .. some. But none of them dislike them. They either haven't heard much of their stuff or really like them.
But I always battle with a friend who loves Blur about which band is better. Of course he's wrong and I'm right! And also with another friend who loves Oasis but they still like coldplay so it's all good.
