My family DROVE in a car all the way from England to Italy.....it was hot and a long drive, and we came over the mountains....

No...I haven´t been to any concert lately...:( I wanted to go to 1 of Richard Ashcroft´s gigs in Germany but the dates were in May and I had to go to school:(

Don't be sad about it! His concerts in Germany were all cancelled (including that one in Hamburg I wanted to see) and I'm still waiting to get my money back. It's a shame!

I dont know why it was closed...it was only that particular one...I think there was maybe a fault on it? I was annoyed...but I got another ticket to go back another time (at a cheaper price of £10 ) I was soooo looking forward to it! :( Oh well....went on some other cool rides!

Yeah.....I went on some of those feeling pretty damn scared....but Im not afraid of rides really..

I once (many, many years ago) rode with a rollercoaster at a local theme park which has just one looping - but as we passed the looping it kinda smacked my backbone and I wasn't able to walk properly for weeks :sick: Since then I'm kinda scared about rollercoasters with loopings.

Some months ago my workmates convinced me to ride with it one more time - So I did it and fortunately my back resisted the physical stress in the looping that time - but for a reason I still avoid those kind of rollercoasters :embarassed:

Yeah Phantasialand is near Cologne. I still have the terrible pictures in my mind when a fire hit the roller coaster there in 2001. It was so horrible to see the people get stuck in the roller coaster while the fire under them became bigger and bigger.

I'm going again the first weekend in August for some clubbing action in Bristol.
Last Friday I saw Madness in Bonn.
Last Saturday I ran a half-marathon, but it was far too hot and not at all enjoyable.
On Sunday evening I was invited to a small barbeque in Neuss.
On Wednesday I got to play some tennis for the first time in about a year.
Hopefully I'll be able to do it again next Wednesday.
This weekend will be much quieter........................................... ....

Driving on the left in the uk comes from the olden days where we had horses with knights on top. Most if not all knights were right handed, so the right hand is where the sword when.

well done girl, I think it's the best option!!! ;) Surely it was a good experience for you to go to these concerts (Rolling and Santana), so you can see more how it works and predict how many hours you should be there if you wanna be close from the stage. ;)
I remember myself when I went to the Coldplay gig and I had several doubts such as how early I should be there ('cos I wanted to be at the first rows). Anyway, a friend of mine who had been there before (I mean in the place where they did the concert) explain all this sort of details to me, so I had no probs. :D
