Well, I don't put Scarlett Johansson down because I want to praise Gwyneth. Besides I really like Gwyneth's work and her style, I just can't stand Scarlett Johansson. I know that many people find her attractive and like her as an actress but I simply don't. And I think she looked worse at both events compared to Gwyneth.
That's my opinion and I'm not afraid to voice it.

nope, you can't - you need to be british citiezen to vote. If you leave in the UK about you are a different nationality you can vote in local elections but not the general election.

Paltrow (laughs in a charming and proud way): Yes, I am. Ich realize that when I was between 20 and 30 years old, then I had stepped too much on the gas. It was as if someone had put a gun against my breast, and I ran and ran and ran. Until I no longer felt like working at all. A lot of things happened in my life at that time. My father died, I married, I had children. Suddenly I realized: Hey, a real life is waiting for me. A life that has nothing to do with Hollywood and its negative sides. At that time I have only associated something negative with it. Therefore, it made me very happy to concentrate on being a mother for three years.

Did you fear that your passion for your job could have been completely gone?

Paltrow: I have always known that this fire, this desire to work would come back. The breaks did me good, in particular because during this time-out, so many wonderful things happened to me as a mother - things that made me feel like flying.

Do you feel guilty today when you are in front of the camera and you have to leave your children in the care of others?

Paltrow: In the first couple of days I felt really bad. I imagined how the children were in the bathroom, and I was not there with them, and I cried. Nevertheless, it was important to me. I understood that it is okay to live out my talent, to give space to this other side in me. But I will never again live it out to the same degree as before. My family is too precious to me. Paltrow: I have often accompanied my mother to work at the theatre. I loved to watch her on stage. I just sat there admiring her. She was so full of energy, she was incredible! Paltrow: Yes, Europe has a wonderful life style, but I also love America. I am really an American Girl, I am born in Los Angeles, grown up in New York. Some clichés are very true. Gwyneth Paltrow has never been one to shy away from a risky style choice.
Whether she is baring her legs in tiny shorts or opting against a bra in the now infamous sheer black dress she wore to the Oscars in 2002, the 37-year-old actress is no stranger to the faux pas.
Which makes her combination of swept-back hair and cleavage baring dress at the Louis Vuitton store opening in London last night less surprising - but no less awful.

It's hard to know quite what the Iron Man 2 star was looking to achieve with the hair, while the daring keyhole dress, from the Louis Vuitton cruise collection, was a brave choice for a mother of two.
And quite what was happening with the bows on her heels only Louis Vuitton would be able to say.

Still, Paltrow wore the outfit confidently to the relaunch of the store in Bond Street, showing little sign of the extra weight she revealed she has put on for her latest role.
Playing a country singer in new movie Now Love Don’t Let Me Down, Gwyneth was told by the director that she would need to bulk up for the role.
She explained: 'Basically, I play a country western singer and I had been in great shape for Iron Man 2 and the director said, "I don’t want you to be so muscly".

'So it wasn’t so much gaining weight as [a means of] just trying to soften up the edges a bit and not work out so much.

However, Gwyneth's weight gain was barely noticeable as she joined stars including Elle Macpherson, Gemma Arterton, Daisy Lowe and Kirsten Dunst at the event.

At the first glance I didn't like the dress much but as I kept going through the photographs it grew on me. It's acutally really nice. I guess it looks better 'in action' than when she just stands looking into the cameras. :nice:

Well they have the money, and if I were in her shoes, I wouldn't have wanted to keep my family living in a suite in a hotel for that long, coming in and out of a very public place, where paps would be 24-7. Everything about the Apt. was pretty simple IMO, loved the kids room, and the kitchen too. I am pretty sure after it's all said and done, this is a great Tax write off for them too.
