i LOVE weather like this. :D it was really sunny this morning, which was gorgeous and then we had torrential rain and stuff which i love too. and we had hail the other day. i love it when it starts getting wintery :D

Same here in Berlin. It's all rainy and uncomfortable. Best requirements for being melancholic and listening to Coldplay...

i love being out in the cold but knowing you're on your way home, where it's warm. and then you get in and put the fire on and some coldplay music and it's all cosy and great 8)

aww...i hope she gets better soon. i have one nan who can't really walk very well and who's just sort of..well...old really and the other one is perfectly healthy bodywise (although she smokes like a chimney and drinks whisky like there's no tomorrow) but senile, but between them they're fully functioning.

i know, i'm lucky cos my dad's mum was part of such a massive family that i have umpteen great aunties, who all looked after me when i was little (they all live in the same block of flats, and we used to live just round the corner - it was like something off the tv) so it's like i have millions of grandparents. :)
I love cold weather but i cant handle it...i dont think i could live in cold weather....i'd probably die :x

It is WINDY here now! We have had storm warnings and when I took my dog for a walk (yes, Vicky, I have a dog - but he stays with my parents, so he's family property  ) I got really scared cause the trees were shaking like hell... Man, it's dangerous outside now! :?

The weather over here is really freaky at the moment! 6 people died in the recent winds and it's quite scary for it being England and not a tornado or hurricane or anything! Mostly they died from trees/branches hitting them.
What with that and earth tremors and an mini twister....what's going on!!!!!
i think now i'm officially afraid of trees  just kidding 8)
Tracy

i've just tripped over a random piece of treeness on my way home - there's branches, stumps and whole trees everywhere. but i still love walking home on days like this - it sort of cleared my head and woke me up a bit, which is a difficult task on a monday

I had a very strange thought yesterday... I was drving past a tree (as you do) and thought, if trees were something that were invented, wouldn't the inventor be a very rich person for making an oxygen creator
Strange, I told you

quite an interesting thought actually. i think about trees a lot just cos i an always see them when i'm bored and gazing out of windows - but more in a "aren't they a funny shape?" kind of way. not that i'm basic/superficial/dim or anything  nevermind..

I was just reading about the 12-year-old boy near Norwich died saving his older brother from a falling tree during the storms. Their dog was also crushed to death by the tree... How sad!!!

I was about to make a thread like this, coincidentally
It is so windy outside right now. It went from 90 degress F yesterday and completely sunny/still, to about 50 degress F and massive windstorms today. :escaping:
