I'm sure that a few of us rambled on about this band, but i must say they are still one of my favourite bands. I love them..i truly truly do..

But now i'm sad, b/c Dirk Lance, the bass player, has left the band. I don't know...this makes me terribly sad b/c he was one of my favourite members (after Jose, the drummer)...so, in honour of Dirk Lance (Alex) I'm gonna play my Incubus CDs in high bass sound... :sad: :( :cry:

I know Kasia..my heart is breaking too....i loved Dirk...I love Incubus!! The one thing that will be different is that they're not gonna be that band who started in Calabassas when they were in middle school or whatever..they're gonna have an outsider ( I mean, Kilmore didn't know them for that long, but you never realized that, he just fit)!! The one thing i loved about this band is that they all knew each other from way back and were truly best friends..now it's gonna be all different...

I listened to them all last night and i was so sad...they're one of my fave bands.. :cry:

aaaaaw thank you for posting the pix. i`m gonna post some too. and sheesh i`ve never seen them live! i`m stuck in poland and no one ever comes to play concerts here and i just realized i`m never gonna see incubus with dirk!!!!!!!!!! I like Incubus' new stuff, they used to blow (SCIENCE was the biggest waste of money Ive ever spent) but then they got their groove together, its prettay, oh so prettay.

Incubus have hired ex-guitarist for the Roots Ben Kenney as their new bassist. Kenney will replace Dirk Lance, who was recently released from duty after 12 years with the band. In a press statement, frontman Brandon Boyd said the band decided to let Lance go after Incubus finished touring for Morning View. ...

Tour dates for Lollapalooza were announced yesterday and - much to the dismay of Canadian fans - the traveling festival will be a U.S.-only affair. The tour, which features Jane's Addiction, Audioslave, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Jurassic 5 and The Donnas, will kick off on July 3rd in Grand Rapids, Michigan and wrap up in Syracuse, New York at the end of August. Sources say that Canadians hoping that some dates will be added north of the border shouldn't hold their breath. The tour is said to be simply too expensive to take outside the U.S.

This year's Lollapalooza will continue its tradition of political activism with information booths from various awareness-raising groups, including Tom Morello's Axis of Justice organization

yay for incubus!!! i was sooooooo upset when lollapalooza decided not to play in t.o. i heard it was b/c the canadian$ was too high so they wouldn't have made as much money....well, their new album better be good. fungus amongus is too funny. my fav album is probably science, my fav songs "a certain shade of green" and "summer romance" and "blood on the ground" and...hell, i love all of them. they're one of my top 3 fav bands. speaking of which, my other 2 fav bands (coldplay and live) are both at the southside (?) festival in germany (correct me if i'm wrong, my memory's shot)...why am i here and not on the other side of the atlantic? :sad:

Man, Glass live is sooo awesome!! i was hoping they would play that song too!! :)
