Yeah sorry for complaining but this forum - the whole site in fact - is slow as a moose sometimes. Is it because of the massive traffic?

It's like, I click on a thread, and while waiting for it to load I can go and make myself dinner, and when I come back it still hasn't loaded!

Again, don't mean to complain, great site with loads of cool stuff, class people on here.. Shame low speed has to ruin it. :confused:

EDIT: SO ironic, I'm trying to post a thread about how slow this forum is, but it totally refuses to post it. :stunned:

The server's getting battered at the moment. The site visits have quadrupled in the last 10days.

I've got the hosting company looking at it as well as things my side

only reset things once tonight.

The new memory is due in the next couple of days, when I'll reconfigure a few things. Will have to reset then but should resolve the slow periods.

Been down nearly all day here as well, I tried going on a couple hours ago and it almost let me on, once or twice I got a page. This morning it was working and it stopped as things got busier...
