"Anna Begins" has probably some of the best lyrics..the one you wrote is one of my faves..along with "and every word is nonsense, but i understand and oh lord..." Adam Duritz is a talented man..hehehe..

I only have "Recovering the Satellites" , "August and Everything After" and "This Desert Life"..i don't have their new album yet...but "American Girls" is my "feel-good song"..hahaha...

They are a really good band. I only have their first album and just got their last album from the library. It's really good. I'm gonna miss that CC and John Mayer concert cause I'll be in Miami and they aren't going there. :sad:

this desert life is one of my ultimate ULTIMATE favourite albums :shock:

the emotions range from upbeat to the tragic rhythm of colorblind... then the last few songs on the album are happy again :)

They've split. Chris Robinson did some solo stuff which wasn't half bad but now he's the lead singer of a new band called New Earth Mud. :)

^ I don't have that album, but I love Counting Crows. Adam Duritz is such an emotional, soulful singer. I love to be reflective and listen to their tunes, especially "Colorblind."
