I could probably post this at the international forum, but, as is related with the band, here I go...

MTVLA (Latin America) just open a contest to win two tickets to travel to London and be at a very exclusive Coldplay Concert... They ask you to have visa and passport and I guess is only for Latin American people, but, you can read the rules there to be sure...

1. Entrants may enter the MTV Coldplay competition ("Competition") by completing the outlines questionnaire on any of the following MTV Networks Europe ("MTVNE") websites:

The Competition is open to residents of the European countries listed in the schedule (Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Holland, France, Nordic, Romania, Poland Emerging Markets -Austria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium-Flanders, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine ) aged eighteen (18) and over, excluding employees and immediate relatives of employees of MTVNE and/or EMI Music or of their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies or any other person connected with this competition.


4. One entry per person which must include name, age, address, (including postcode), telephone number and email address of entrant and the answers to the questions. Winners will have answered the questions correctly and will be the first entries randomly drawn on April 12th 2005 from all correct entries received ("Winners"). 10 (10) Winners will be drawn. :stunned:


5. The Prize is as follows:

A trip for the winner and a guest to come to London to see Coldplay perform a number of tracks from their new album in an intimate venue ("Prize"). The Prize shall include flights to and from London, two (2) nights accommodation in a hotel (with breakfast), transport to and from the airport and to and from the concert venue and a reasonable contribution towards all meals during the trip for both the winner and his/her guest

The Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the prize description.


6. In the event that MTVNE cannot for any reason contact any winner by [18:00] on [April 12th 2005], 2005, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner. The winner must be available to travel between April 17th and April 20th 2005. No alternative dates are available.


8. The Winners will be notified by telephone and will receive written confirmation and full details of the prize by [phone]within [3] days of the closing date.


14. Entrants agree that they may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likenesses.

I live in Australia, and MTV.com.au was having this contest as well, but since I don't live in a European country, I'm out of luck. Does that sound right? ;)

Anyway, if I were American, I'd check MTV.com. If you can't find it there, you're out of luck. Canadians can look at MTV.ca.

I think it's stupid you can't enter if you're under eighteen, like we little ones can't enjoy a concert as well :cry: But anyway, I'm gonna see them in a regular concert, that's a bit of a comfort there :P
