why
Darlene_Ihnfsa

europe didn't want to have more wars between their countries.. so they try an economic union and now a political union. :) that's a good thing.

^but only 13.320.407 people (42,43%) had voted.. so that's 18.073.695 people (57,57%population) that didn't vote.
And then those ones that didn't vote will be all the day crying to get things and they didn't say their opinion
  that's annoying.

what's annoying is that all the countries don't chip in like they should, most just take the money without putting some in :dozey:

Darlene_Ihnfsa
20-02-2005, 09:43 PM

That'd be cool, but you can't expect everyone to vote.Even on regular elections there is usualy no more than 50%.
I guess people think there won't be much differece with or without it.

:/ you are right oli, but most of them don't vote and they want all their rights and they don't asnwer when they are asked by politicians... :/
Bijeli_Miš

And what are they asked?
Darlene_Ihnfsa
05-03-2005, 07:51 PM
i mean the day when the people decide their rights for the next 4 years, i mean the election day, most people don't vote and they want to keep their rights.... :/
is like if you supouse that your friend took the notes of the day lessons and bring it to your house even if you didn't told him to do it... :/ then you won't have to surprise if he didn't gave you the day lessons... you know. :/

anyways that thread it's supouse to be about the votes about the european constitution, firstly who voted was spain.then will vote more countries as france i think. so that thread will be about it. politics. :)

I think some countries won't even have the referendum, like Germany if i'm correct.
Beside when you go to elections you elect or re-elect your goverment, most of your rights are based in constitution,so not many things change really. :)
Plus there is increase of distrust in politicians.
High percentage of votes are really in countries with major fundamental changes, like Iraq.

mmm well you are right... but then the things will be the same i mean people won't be paying attention about politics and then the history will repeat... :/
anyways this can be a general thread about politics... :) so you can discuss other things about it not only votes and rights. :)
