Ok i recognize i can't find the Politics thread anyways people don't use to read it.. and best i know from that thread is that people use to argue constantly....
so here goes a thread about European politic.
^Spaniards vote on EU charter
It's the first vote in my life. :D
20-02-2005, 07:59 PM
sounds like europe wants to be one big country now
20-02-2005, 08:01 PM
yes it's an idea that started in 1950 more or less. :)

20-02-2005, 08:21 PM
europe didn't want to have more wars between their countries.. so they try an economic union and now a political union. :) that's a good thing.
20-02-2005, 08:44 PM
^but only 13.320.407 people (42,43%) had voted.. so that's 18.073.695 people (57,57%population) that didn't vote.
And then those ones that didn't vote will be all the day crying to get things and they didn't say their opinion
  that's annoying.
20-02-2005, 08:49 PM
what's annoying is that all the countries don't chip in like they should, most just take the money without putting some in :dozey:
20-02-2005, 08:52 PM
but if we have that right why people don't use it?  that makes me very angry
*tries to relax*
20-02-2005, 09:39 PM
yeah you all ready sent me that link...
and you can't expect 100% of the people to vote...
20-02-2005, 09:43 PM
not the 100% but not less than 57,67%
20-02-2005, 09:49 PM
that's the same as anywhere else.
i guess people don't care about menial stuff like that.
20-02-2005, 09:52 PM
.. i see.. anyways that's so annoying.. isn't it? :dozey: they want rights but when they are asked they just hide.. that's so annoying  :(
20-02-2005, 09:53 PM
everyone should just be their own country! good grief.
21-02-2005, 08:03 PM
21-02-2005, 09:10 PM
yes, it's a crazy idea i know! :smug:
05-03-2005, 09:15 AM
i agree with you!~~
05-03-2005, 12:56 PM

05-03-2005, 07:38 PM
That'd be cool, but you can't expect everyone to vote.Even on regular elections there is usualy no more than 50%.
I guess people think there won't be much differece with or without it.
05-03-2005, 07:44 PM
:/ you are right oli, but most of them don't vote and they want all their rights and they don't asnwer when they are asked by politicians... :/
05-03-2005, 07:47 PM
And what are they asked?
05-03-2005, 07:51 PM
i mean the day when the people decide their rights for the next 4 years, i mean the election day, most people don't vote and they want to keep their rights.... :/
is like if you supouse that your friend took the notes of the day lessons and bring it to your house even if you didn't told him to do it... :/ then you won't have to surprise if he didn't gave you the day lessons... you know. :/
05-03-2005, 07:53 PM
anyways that thread it's supouse to be about the votes about the european constitution, firstly who voted was spain.then will vote more countries as france i think. so that thread will be about it. politics. :)
05-03-2005, 08:19 PM
I think some countries won't even have the referendum, like Germany if i'm correct.
Beside when you go to elections you elect or re-elect your goverment, most of your rights are based in constitution,so not many things change really. :)
Plus there is increase of distrust in politicians.
High percentage of votes are really in countries with major fundamental changes, like Iraq.
05-03-2005, 08:24 PM
mmm well you are right... but then the things will be the same i mean people won't be paying attention about politics and then the history will repeat... :/
anyways this can be a general thread about politics... :) so you can discuss other things about it not only votes and rights. :)
05-03-2005, 08:26 PM
basically this thread was about this... referendum about europe, i don't use to made new topics so... i did it... i must practice more :)
