http://www.harpsoft.com/ this site is kind of useful for learning things about the harmonica. I didn't learn from here, but i got one for a christmas present one year, and i've always been meaning to learn, i taught myself the Don't Panic solo and something else. Mine is a chromatic harmonica, i normally see other people with Blue's harmonicas. I don't know how to tab harmonica out :/

how to tab it out??...just write in wchich hole you blow:D:D or something like that:D you know...thers 10 "holes":d and you write with "-" if its inspiration and normally if expiration:D:D

no offense but the harmonica part should take you maybe 20 seconds to figure out. also, not all harmonicas are the same, harmonicas are made in different keys.

You could play "What if" with the A harmonica! Thats how i play it sometimes-acoustic guitar and harmonica

If you're talking about what if-do you have the X&Y piano sheet music book? (someone posted it ages ago) in the chorus, the piano plays a riff of G# A G#(probably actually the guitar riff) {he says Oooh oooh oooh-then riff} Anyway thats all that ive done so far but you could make a solo, maybe play the notes he sings. Also if you have a G harmonica, try Speed of sound. Very kool to play!

G# is a 7 draw, A a 7 blow
(A also 1, 4, 10 blow G# 3draw)

you cant be taught really. for guitar it helps to listen for the bass notes and then build chords or find the melody line from there.

Well a friend of mine his uncle taught it also. He couldn't hear the music also not very well (just like me, I can do it but with some difficulty) but well he went to the conservatorium, and he can hear music by ear :)
I have to practice very much i guess

Its not a great book but it might be of some help. I got a few months ago when i started but havent used it in ages. Hope someone can get some use of it [The fucking audio is what made the file so big!! And my scanning isnt the best either! sorry!!]

haha, guess what, i've been playing don't panic on harmonica all day!
i just play it by ear acually...
first of all, you need a blues harp in C, not any other!
just try this:

jonny isn't a good blues harp player... it's not accurately played...

oh, btw: if you don't know: numbers = nuber of the hole; b = blow; d = draw;
and that part is of course played after the 2nd chorus...

7 = 5 , 8 = 6 , 6 = 4
these are the right holes.
