07-04-2005, 01:59 PM
well i don't undestand you.
but to come back to the topic... i've followed formula one for a pretty long time, and my favourite team's sauber.
i think the bahrain gp, was really exciting, and i think it's good for the sport that schumacher and ferrari aren't that successful this year. i think they will have better results than in the first three races, but i don't think schumacher's gonna be world champion this year.
some teams really suprised me, especially red bull racing and toyota. i expected that reanult's gonna be successful, but i didn't expect them to be that successful.
what i can say after the first races, i'm a bit disappointed of british american racing.
and what concerns sauber... i don't think the season start that bad. but i really hope jacques villeneuve's gonna improve. he had been a great driver in the past, and he probably still is. nut i don't think he fits with the team. but don't think it's a good idea to replace him.

If it was Bridgestone tyres needed replacing, than the FIA would have allowed it because it helps Schumacher to win.
If Ferrari wasn't in the 6 that ran, the race would have been called off. Bloody farce, they should refund everybody who went there.
Formula 1 has lost yet another viewer.

I don't think this way. Bridgestone had a lot of problems in races this year, and nothing was changed because of that. That's why it'd be unfair if changes were made just to help Michelin. It was a sad episode, anyway. I agree that the ones who went there should be refunded.

I agree completely. I normally hate Ferrari but they did nothing wrong here, nor did the other Bridgestone runners. The finger should be solely pointed at Michelin for their goof. You can't change the race (i.e. the chicane) or bend the rules (i.e. tire change) for teams that break those rules. The FIA have done everything right so far except for refunding the fans' money (and the broadcasting fees for whoever showed the farce for 2 hours). Michelin should pay that tab if their stockholders haven't already ditched them.

i don´t think so.
the problem was with michelin cars.
bridgestone didn´t have nothing with it.
if the others couldn´t run, they could.
there´s no reason to them give a fuck for michelin cars.
but anyway, nothing of this should have happened. it was sad. not tragic.

actually the michellin teams had agreed to race for no points if the chicane was put in, because they said that at least it would be some entertainment for the fans (and most of the cars sponsors have their biggest market in the usa, they too needed the race to be run properly) Ferrarri said no (only team who said no ti it) and so jordan decided to run, and mindardi cannot afford to let it's rivel get so far ahead of them.

>>The decision was brought on by a recent documentary on how
>>unemployed Scousers were able to remove a set of car wheels in less

JV was a brilliant driver in the past and I actually wished he would drive for Ferrari one day. But if you look at his career now, I don't think he'll even still be in F1 next year. I mean his season for Sauber has been so disappointing till now. I'm wondering why. I always thought it was a good decision of Sauber to sign Villeneuve. Unfortunately it wasn't. I don't think BMW wants him to stay.
I think Massa is underestimated. I really think he's a very talented driver. Agree with you about Barichello.

Yupp - JV's season for Sauber is really disappointing... I don't know about his reasons for going to Sauber. He said, that the new wind tunnel gaves him a good feeling for the new season. But I think (and I wouldn't talk bad about him) there were two reasons. The 1st one is, that Sauber was a back door to Ferrari till this season, cause they're using Ferrari engines. The 2nd reason was - Hinwil isn't so far from his home :D

No, I definitely don't think so. I mean Sauber was the best team he could have joined. Where else should he have gone? I think it was a great chance for him to BE in F1 this season...I don't think he was thinking about going to Ferrari. It wasn't that sure that he'll be in F1 this year, so... I'm not sure about the thing where he lives... I thought he used to live in Monaco? Did he move to Villars sur Ollon? (which actually isn't that near from Hinwil)

@sally: The guys from the jv-world-forum are saying that he lives in villars now. Sure, in F1 was no other choice in a condition like sauber. But in my oppinion he should go back to america, back to Forsythe-Racing. This will be good for him and it will be good for the ChampCar-Worldseries. It would be the same effect like 1993 when Nigel Mansell went to America. I want to see ChampCars more popular, cause I think they're making better racing for the fans.

Evori

Not fair? :stunned: He started in F1 a few years ago and has done an enormous step forward! :stunned:
He did the best starts last year, and now... well, you can see it yesterday with Klien  an intelligent driver does what Alonso did, not what Montoya did because in the end who went out?
Alonso deserves it and Kimi too, of course (I'm not against Kimi  he and Alonso are the future! ) but this year it should be for Alonso (from the beginning he has headed the championship).
It's also about the car and if McLaren isn't able to finish a lot of races, they don't deserve the title.
True  It happened to Alonso last year with Renault.
Cris_Santos
12-09-2005, 02:07 PM
Ok, you made me believe that maybe Mclaren doesn't deserve it, but I think the best driver should win, and not the one who won races because the one in front of him broke in the last lap... Or because he did the pole position and had to be ten positions behind in the grid... And this means 10 points to Alonso and 0 to Kimi, I remembered it happened at leat 2 times (20 points) That's why I think it's not fair :( But probably it has to do more with lucky than with any other thing
Evori
12-09-2005, 05:04 PM
