And then there's the touring/popularity aspect. Snow Patrol broke out huge in the UK, along with Franz Ferdinand and Keane.
Also, Muse headlined Glastonbury, and put on an amazing show that will be remembered for a long time. Plus they toured an extensive amount in North America.
There's also Oasis' hype and the consequent popping of their bubble, what with them performing horribly at Glasto and subsequently scrapping all their new songs. But that wouldn't make them 'the best'
