The pair have recently got together after months of struggling with their feelings for each other.
Producers of the soap had originally planned to split them up but have now changed their minds and want the
romance to be a long-term one.
They plan to install the duo as "the new Den and Angie Watts" in the Queen Vic following the wedding, which
is planned for next summer.
