I have a suggestion:

When you post news on the front page, there should also be an accompanying thread made for that news so that we can hear comments. I know that someone could just copy and paste that news into a new thread and do it for you, but it would be nice if this could be done officially by someone other than a regular member. :)

Oh, and a link should be made available for each piece of news on the main page to link directly to the corresponding thread.
