Your safety's maybe number ten on the priority list, just below stopping Euan Blair going on another drinking binge and keeping George Bush from blowing the world up again.

During the Cold War, the Government issued booklets like this to inform people on what to do in case of a nuclear strike. I read one a while ago, and I was in tears of laughter.

Just one thing it said was that when you hear the 3 minute warning siren, you should block your windows with tables and chairs and then hide in the cellar. All in three minutes... You couldn't even boil an egg in that time, let alone board up the windows. Even if you somehow miraculously managed to do it, your house and everything in it would be completely vaporised anyway.

I find the general rhertic of the UK government and some of the media especially what could be perceived as the right ring media since September 11 2001 and March 11th 2004, are getting the people into a panic. Its one of the many ways people can be controlled if you get them scared.

Media sources keep saying a sporting events e.g. Football matches, Festivals shopping centres would be a most probable targets. These places would be soft targets and would cause the most upset.

What I really think is wrong is some sections of media or even in general media say Muslim Terrorist in my eyes someone who is a true Muslim would not commit such a crime. All this type of attention does alienate people, and in turn causes divide. I wish they would not reefer to the world Muslim of Islamic before the word terisoist or extremist these people who carry out such cowardly acts should just be refereed as just murderers.

Blackburn Rovers FC would be an ideal target and I support any attack there :smug:

This is something I have quite strong views on.

I hope it never happens but I reckon it will its just a matter of when, when it does there is going to so much hurt, pain, and anger !!

One thing I want to do is to write a letter to Kofi Anan, to ask him to make a request to the media not to use the preceding word of muslim before terroist, Extremist or Fundementilsts. I know its not much but given time this would change some peoples views.
