sorry, but i've just had an argument about this - i call it "the flasher". which to me seems like a perfectly logical name cos i sort of flashes when you change channels (and also you get great to say the best things, like "mum. leave the flasher alone!") what about you?

Well usually I call it 'THAT FU****G BOX' used in the context of "where's THAT FU****G BOX?????" but when I can actually find it I just call it the remote  ............but flasher's good, yeah I like it

Well it's called the "channel changer" by me!

I think it's quite logical (what does it do? change channels!!!) but anyone i ever mention it to just laughs at me

I also have a friend who calls it the "doofer" - i mean wtf? doofer?&^?$"?
(at least my name had logic)

one thing that i like about my channel changer is the television has a button you press if you lost your channel changer. When you press the button the channel changer lets out a beep and then you are able to find it. without that i wouldn't know what to do, because i loose my channel changer like every hour.

that's clever - we lost ours for about 3 months and it was in the dog's basket.

I call it a remote.

Do people get in trouble for swearing on here? I see people are censoring themselves, or is it the message board doing that?

Daner
