I've been meaning to pick their new one up. Someone said I'd like them cause I'm mad about Sigur Ros. I'll be diggin pennies from my couch. Can't resist a Sigur Ros-ish band. But it'll be tough to live up to, u know? Yes U!!! YOU KNOW!?

Almost nine years since a post?
This band is absolutely incredible. "East Hastings" had me hooked after I first watched 28 Days Later a couple years back.

'Lift your skinny fists' is a masterpiece.
I was also hooked on Efrim Menuck's solo album a couple months ago.

This thread makes me want to listen to GY!BE again. I love the idea of using recordings of people speaking and overlapping music over it.
Anyone listens to Mike Moya's other project, HRSTA?
